First time herping in central NC

Hey guys, I went on my first herping adventure the other night, and my friends/family aren’t into this kind of stuff and I wanted to share with someone so here I am. I just went out trying to find anything, found a bunch of different spiders, ants, roaches, and found a snake!!! I wasn’t expecting to find a snake for the first couple herps but I got lucky and found this little fella. I was ecstatic and I’m hooked on herping. I know it’s not too impressive compared to most things on this subreddit, but regardless thanks for stopping by. Can’t wait to get back out there!

Side note: I did make sure to replace every rock/log I flipped back to how I found it.

ID Central North Carolina Spider

Found this little fella on my visit to falls lake tonight, wondering what he is. I saw a bunch of them throughout the night. Any insight would be helpful!

Identification help! Got a Freebie. What species is it?

I got a freebie in one of my recent reptile/invert order and curious what species the little fella is. Any help is appreciated! Also, any advice on setup/husbandry is helpful as it’s my first centipede
