I’ve spent nearly 300 hours on Olympus since the console edition launched. I am gearing up for the final operation, and plan to make the jump over to Prometheus when done. It feels like I am moving in real life 😂 Bringing the essentials, but starting over…
What’s something you want to see added to the game with the Palworld 1.0 update?
I would like to see all legendary schematics get a special perk. That way there’s a reason to grind for them.
For example the vortex beater has a chance to refund ammo. That perk alone makes it far better than most other weapons. I would like to see perks like that on every legendary weapon/armor.
Edit: I just woke up to 198 replies… 😂 I promise I will respond to each and every suggestion. However, it is Mother’s Day, so it will only be a few at a time. Thanks for sharing all your great ideas everyone 😀
Edit 2: At this time I have read and responded to everyone so far.
Here's the most common things brought up:
A minimap
More Character Customization
Palbox/Passive UI updates, search options and alphabetized.
NPC/human customization . Giving them weapons and armor. (my thoughts are like diablo type follows, 1 slot for armor, weapons, accessories, and maybe even a unique skill).
Weather
More Story/Lore
Hey all, I was recently talking to someone about how much I enjoy building in survival games. I prefer building far more than boss fights typically lol. Here's a few builds I've made over the last few years in different games.
Image 1: Icarus
Image 2: Palworld
Image 3: Grounded 2
Image 4: Ark Survival Ascended
If you have any cool base builds for any survival game it would be awesome to see them 😀
It's been awhile since I've made a "creative" base in Ark, so I wanted to see what I could put together. This was my attempt at a multi level & multi building base.
Step 1: Start Fishing for Rainbow Passives
You’re looking specifically for green sparkles, which indicate a rainbow passive.
The easiest way to farm these consistently is by fast traveling between the islands added with the Terraria update. When you leave and re enter render distance, the pals at the fishing locations will reroll into new pals, which means new chances for rainbow passives.
HOWEVER, only fish up the green sparkles.
Leaving render distance does not instantly respawn pals that were already caught or scared away. It only rerolls the pals that are currently present. If you clear all 5/5 fishing spots for example, they will not immediately reset and you’ll need to wait for respawns. That’s why it’s more efficient to only target yellow sparkles.
Step 2: Look for These Breeding Combos
You only need one successful pair from the following:
Your goal is to find one of these fish pals with the Demon God passive and breed it onto a Yakumo.
Important: DO NOT keep the Yakumo if it has additional passives. You want a Yakumo with only Demon God.
Step 3: Unlock the Yakumo Harness
At level 43, you unlock the Yakumo Harness. This allows Yakumo to pass its passive(s) onto other pals during captures.
A freshly bred Yakumo at 0 stars has:
A fully condensed Yakumo has:
Basically if you’re willing to breed and fully condense the Yakumo, you can double your odds of transferring Demon God.
Now You only want Demon God on the Yakumo because the passive transfer chance rerolls for every additional passive.
For example:
So DO NOT add any extra passives to your Yakumo.
Step 4: Catch a Jetragon
Once you have your Demon God Yakumo ready, start catching Jetragons while Yakumo is your active pal/fighting with you.
Repeat until you get a Jetragon with:
Now pick 1 Of These Armies/Pals
Option 1: Azurobe Raid Army
Breed:
Jetragon + Mozzarina = Azurobe
Keep breeding until you get an Azurobe with:
At this point, you already have an extremely strong raid pal.
If you want to make them even stronger you can hunt for a Lunker Azurobe (purple beam from fishing) and breed that into the chain to get a Azurobe with:
Azurobe is Strong For These Reasons:
Credit to YouTuber “Palworld Raids” for discovering how effective Azurobe is for raids.
Option 2: Orserk Raid Army
Breed:
Jetragon + Cinnamoth = Relaxaurus
Make sure Relaxaurus has:
Then breed:
Relaxaurus + Grizzbolt = Orserk
Again, aim for:
From there, you can begin building your full Orserk raid army. They are a dragon pal who has stab with moves like meteor rain, and beam slicer.
Final Recommendation: Neptilius
Using your Demon God Yakumo, catch Neptilius until you get one with:
Then begin breeding your Neptilius army.
Like Azurobe, Neptilius is also immune to burn effects due to being a water pal, making it another excellent raid option.
I see a lot of people struggling with raids, so hopefully this helps in some way.
P.S. I feel this is obvious, but just in case. Make sure to fill out any final passives you need to your army. Things like Serenity/Musclehead, etc.
You can buy these from the surgery table for 50k gold. If you don't have these at your surgery table you get the muscle head implant by turning in bounty tokens to the officers in the villages. You get the serenity implant from progressing in the arena (found to the east of the large desert).
Edit: Once You have the perfect pals for raids you’ll want to condense them to max level. The easiest way to max all these pals out is to get multiple breeding stations running pairs of these at the same time.
On these breeding pairs give them all nocturnal and philanthropist from the surgery tab.
Also get yourself a braloha. Fully condense them and add them to that breeding base.
By having the breeding pairs with both those passives and a maxed braloha the pals will be creating eggs much faster. It will go from being 5 minutes per egg to 1 minute and 25 seconds.
Then for souls you’ve got 2 primary ways.
Breed and butcher Anubis/necromus. Make sure those pals have philanthropist and nocturnal to get them faster.
Also utilize the expedition station. The more pals you already have condensed the more effective this method becomes.
I am curious what streaming revenue looks like on twitch with Adsense/subs. How much you make, vs how much you stream, and average viewer count. I have a YouTube channel with 26k subs and make decent money with Adsense there (with short form and long form content). Going forward I am going to start streaming as well. I am just not sure whether YouTube or twitch makes more sense. Currently I stream from my PS5, so streaming to both isn’t an option at the moment. In the future I should be able to get a gaming pc to stream to both, but the wife and kids needs have been the priority at the moment. Any info you can share would be greatly appreciated 😀
I’ve been putting off finishing the Olympus operations for a little while now, but I finally committed. I finally completed the operation to unlock all the Sandworm boss armor and weapons 😀
Hey all,
I am curious what survival game you think has the best combat. I have 1000s of hours in the genre, however I’ve only ever played on console.
Personally in my opinion I think V Rising & Grounded 2 have some of the best overall combat. But what’s your thoughts?
Hey everyone,
If Palworld 2 came out, and we were allowed to bring 1 pal with us to that game. Which Pal would you bring and why?
Edit: Whether it’s Palworld 2 or even Palworld 1.0, if everything got wiped and you had to start fresh, who’s the one pal you wouldn’t want to give up?
After spending over 200 hours experiencing the console version of the game, and progressing through open world, I’ve put together a list of what I believe are the most effective attachments for each piece of gear.
Please share whether you agree or disagree. Also, I hope this provides some helpful guidance for newer players.
Axe/Pickaxe/Sledgehammer: 20% Increase Attack Speed (Advanced Attack Speed Attachment)
