Where can I improve from here?

I made the first drawing as a milestone of sort for the second and I want to know where to improve my portraits from here, I use mainly products from Bic, including correction fluid, blue pens and mechanical pencils, I also occasionally use a white uni ball pen for thick smooth black lines (shown here).

One of the main reasons I use correction fluid despite its many drawbacks including its insane flamability and it's weird clumpy look in certain settings, is because I can critique my own work in a way while also allowing me to see my mistakes and how I improved from it.

If you have any materials, techniques, or just any good criticism in general, then feel free!

(The drawing is of Michael Jackson, the first one of his moviepedia profile image, or just the fourth image on Google at the moment. I unfortunately cannot remember what photo the second one was based off of though.)

Rendering tips for ibis paint x

I use watercolor opaque 2, along with the basic pen fade for large fillings of color, I would like some nice tips to improve my rendering, lots of tutorials are either vague on what they do, or are very advanced.

The jump from paper to digital has been ROUGH, and I still use paper sketches before I use the watercolor opaque brush to sketch basic line art.

I'd say I'm pretty used to the UI for the most part and drawing with my finger is not that much different from an actual pencil surprisingly.

I'm looking for something that could be reasonably quick (or simple) for finished pieces, studies, or portraits. Whether it be new brushes, techniques, a draw over, or whatever just sorta fits this vague criteria.

I'd say pretty skilled at sketching and choosing colors, but for the life of me I can't render properly, I can shade great on paper sketches but digital is so complex. Does anyone have any critiques or tips for me to improve?
