Took me about a month to finish these guys. Please, share your thoughts and cheer with me for the Emperor’s true finest!

I know I need a proper photo setup to truly praise their glory but I was too eager to share with the community😇

Need advise against Daemons

Dear brothers,

I am up to rematch Chaos Daemons opponent I beat closely in the late 10th edition and I cannot afford myself to shame the honor of the Sons of Titan losing.

Right now I am up with more or less the following list:
BANISHERS + Argent Assault (will be playing Purge the Foe)
2x10 pallies lead by Libbies (I am afraid of LoCh and Be’Lakor shooting tbh so FNP agains psychic is no joke to me)
1x5 pallies lead by Chaplain
Crowe-brick
1 or 2 purgators (depending on loadouts of the other units)

My basic question is, actually, about the loadouts because I am not sure what I am to face. Main concern is of I am up to face Cavalcade of Chaos or not because Bloodcrushers have T7, 3+, 5++, 4W. In this case psycannons all around (perhaps, except for Crowe-brick) look fine (correct me if I’m wrong). But if there are no Bloodcrushers, almost all of the daemons have INSV lower than SV and in this case volume Psilencers provide looks much more tempting.

What are your thought about it? And, maybe, you have some ideas around the list. Please, feel free to share in the comments🙏🏻

Last battle of 10th edition – We are the Hammer!

Not that many battle reports featuring our beloved order 666 are present on YouTube. Here is one of our last battles of 10th edition coming live finally after some production delays.
Don’t let foreign language shatter your faith in the Emperor – let the subtitles be your guiding light🙏🏻

Battle review

So, first of all, I am really glad I took Purge the Foe as it was simply easier to do than my opponent’s primary. To do this better my whole army was just 5 units (3 pallies + Crowe brick + 1 strikes). And for the same purpose I chose to max out psycannons on all pf the units. Yes, I paid extra like 85 pts but they would anyway not give me any value (even solo libby is not an option for these points…)

I was going first and, perhaps, due to it I didn’t suffer too much from lack of 1st turn Gate of Infinity. Yet, I managed to almost snipe my opponent’s infiltrators (leaving 1 lonely body who lived until the end of the game😂) and do a good round of psycannons shooting at Kataphrons from my 66th Seal brick maxing out the advantage of hidden and Libby’s lone-op.

Second turn I started getting into melee… and Holy Lord we are the hammer indeed! +1 to wound from Argent Assault made attacking Scorpeus Disintegrator and Kastellan robots not a torture but quite reliable thing. Unfortunately, robots managed to survive due to lots of buffs (fnp, cancelling 1 failed save, invul and so on) so Chaplain’s unit of 5 couldn’t kill them all and was slain in the next round. Yet he tanked almost all of opponent’s shooting. I also managed to get 1 last wound left from Scorpeus Disintegrator thanks to the stratagem making opponent’s melee attacks hazardous and him failing hazardous check. That was fun!
Crowe’s brick almost annihilated Kataphrons that were left after the first round of my shooting and was left in a ruin as a bait.

Next round’s remarkable things were:

  1. Using Shadow of Anarch spread out my models in 66th Seal Pallies brick which resulted in my opponent being not able to move his Kataphron Breachers out from reserves seeing my pallies so he had to move out at his home objective almost and the only viable target was Crowe’s brick.
  2. Free rapid ingress for my GM’s pallies brick in opponent’s deployment near his expansion (he had to stretch his forces to try to control more objectives for his primary yet it left his rear open).
  3. Kataphron breachers firing at Crowes brick resulted in only killing 4 (!) I rolled hot on saves and it was the moment when we understood how my seriously my shooting was more reliable than my opponent’s. Even with lower volume of psycannons per brick of 10 paladins I managed to trigger equal or bigger amount of saves on my opponent than he would on me while his army was much more potent in shooting. Hitting on 4+ due to cover was a nightmare for him.
  4. Chaplain’s unit was killed due to a gotcha from my opponent about Kastellan Robots shooting and charging after fallback when I already used my Shadow of Anarch (I was chill, as I was ready to say goodbye to these boys when they couldn’t kill Kastellans).

Third round was the last for us because my opponent decided not to continue. It had already taken us about 4,5 hours due to long terrain setup and a lot of consulting with the rules during the game.
Yet the situation in the end of this round was:
I killed a lot of Admech valuable assets an Opponent was left with Cawl, 2 breachers, 2 techpriests and 1 skitarii unit at his home objective. A small highlight: one of Kastellan robots blew up and got last wound from his brother destroying a unit. At the same time I had 2 bricks of paladins at almost full strength + Crowes brick at 2/3 strength. I would be able to score primary (at least by killing his units) and, perhaps, even some secondaries while my opponent was mostly stuck in combat with me somewhere around his deployment and was out of options for primary scoring.

To sum up

We concluded that the game was tight in terms of lethality but Admech’s disposition was hard to execute with my opponent’s roster. I was surprised, actually, that he didn’t choose another detachment to get access to Purge the Foe but even for that case I would have too few units that he would be able to destroy🤔
I have many more matchups ahead and wish everyone to have fun in 11th edition❤️

Agents of the Imperium 11th rules megathread

Okay, so we're getting redirected here from the Warhammer40k Subreddit with anything related to the faction right now so I've made this post here.

Points of note:

- we can't legally play 1000 point games

- we can't legally play doubles matches.

- we can't play Take and Hold.

- All our detachments are 3DP implying that we won't get any 1DP detachments.

- We are all emailing GW to communicate the issues.

Am I missing anything else?
