Experienced folks your advice needed

Hello everyone so I work as a software engineer in a tech company, I am a fresher ( Genz ) and I really really don't know about office politics, appraisal criteria etc etc.

So I've been working here and my manager is really very toxic, Like every one there can swear on his toxicity and he his hell of a micro manager such as his HR notes every movement for eg. Coffee, sutta breaks, washroom breaks etc etc etc.

In a discussion he mentioned that an employee is not entitled to his leaves, leave is a request which can be rejected or accepted it is not your Right. Wtf man.

It really drains me off but what one thing is all over my mind from the last week is that he first mentioned me in a public discussion in front of everyone that I take a lot of leaves to be precise his point was that this what I am doing is not ideal, although lemme tell you more than half of my leaves were because of my exams I mean bruh you've hired freshers then obviously we will have to take exam leaves and one more thing those were not paid leaves all those 10-15 days were leave without pay.

But still he said that I am very demanding and take leaves although it was not in a very bad manner but sometimes the sweetest words are the most sharp ones.

Also in that discussion these guys mentioned that freshers don't know how these things will affect their over-all growth and appraisals and it is better you learn from someone else's mistakes rather than facing it own your own. Like these are the words of upper management in a public discussion.

Then after his speech or whatever it was he came to me asking that if I am willing to revoke my leave !!! Like are you crazy bruh ? Then after 3-5 days he came to my seat again asking for a follow up on my decision to revoke the leave request, not in a serious manner but ifykyk.

Now a Genz inside me is not letting me do what he wants because if today I did that then he will always do that to me and will expect me to sacrifice and I am not gonna let him do this but STILL I want some serious advice from you guys because he is not only a manager lemme tell you he is a very senior level person and still pokes a fresher for his leaves and all.

[Update] I added this connecting/layover station feature

So after receiving a lot of appreciation on delay analysis I went one step ahead and thought of this really useful feature which is rarely in any famous irctc/ticket related platform.

I made this feature because as I travel a lot through trains and I have to change trains in different scenarios sometimes there are no confirmed tickets available in a direct train and sometimes there is no direct train available. So in order to do that I have to search seperately which is not a good experience atleast for me.

I have also given multiple filter options so users can plan their journey exactly as they want.

Created a web app for Indian railways with cool analysis feature

I’m a software engineer and a bit of a railway enthusiast, so I ended up building this little web app over the weekend for something I personally find useful while travelling by train.

You can use it to check:

• Live train running status

• PNR status

• Live station boards

• Trains between stations

• Seat availability

One thing I usually check before a journey is how that particular train has been performing recently — especially its delays over the last few runs.

So I added a feature that gives you a more detailed analysis of a train just by entering its name or number, including its recent running history and delay patterns.

Nothing fancy or commercial behind it — just a weekend project I made because I enjoy trains and wanted to build something useful around them.

If you travel by Indian Railways often, would be curious to know what other information you usually check before a journey.
