Vintage Chopard (1970)

I bought this watch for my girlfriend recently since i realy wanted something special that fits into art deco universe.Cartier was never an option for me. I prefer niche " sleepers " : ) .Im a big admirer of vintage Piagets,Corums,JLCs and obviously - Chopards.I think vintage Chopard is little undervalued at this moment but we need to remember that they were watchmakers first and then later jewelers. So im expecting sooner or later vintage Chopard prices will creep up as they should. Anyhow, its 27 x 27 mm, 5.5 mm tickness, ultra thin mehanical rewinder.Materialwise - its 18 k white gold, onyx stone dial. And very interesting - sapphire glass which was very ahead of time then(70s). Very rare model to find and i odore the look and im sure she will. I might borrow it from time to time since it fits me very good - if i can say so myself : )

JLC Reverso " Postmodern take "

Hello,

i would like to.present my JLC Reverso Medium on a custom stichless grey nubuck.I got that idea by looking at some Cartier Privee models that uses a very dressy watch and put it in " casual space " with a simple leather strap.I think it gives the Reverso a very clean, different but arhitectonic feel.
