Aurora University (BSN program) info

Hi! If anybody has gone to AuroraU for nursing, I need some insight please. I’m looking to transfer from a community college and trying to find out what GPA range they accept? Any other info about the program would be greatly appreciated as well! :)

hi everyone. i’m a 20 yr old (female) and i quit weed about 6 months ago after being a heavy daily smoker for years. my boyfriend and i met in high school and basically grew up smoking together. he still smokes every single day after work and most weekends, while i’ve stayed completely sober.

now that i’m sober, i feel like i’m noticing things i never noticed before. i’m a really conversational/introspective person and i love deep talks, analyzing life, emotions, ideas, etc. when i was constantly high too, i guess i never realized how much weed affected our communication because i was in that same fog.

but now it’s starting to bother me a lot. for example:
- i always have to drive us places because he’s high
- when he’s super high, conversations feel dry or surface-level
- sometimes i’ll open up about serious stuff at night and he just sounds goofy/confused/high instead of actually emotionally present
- i feel like he’s not fully comprehending what i’m saying half the time

honestly the only conversations i genuinely enjoy lately are during the hour he commutes home from work before he smokes. during that time he’s thoughtful, engaged, smart, funny, emotionally aware, etc. i wish he was like that all the time.

i don’t know if i’m becoming judgmental because i quit, or if sobriety is making me realize incompatibilities that were always there. i still love him a lot and he’s not a bad person at all. i just feel increasingly disconnected from him mentally/emotionally when he’s high all the time.

has anyone else experienced this after quitting weed while their partner continued smoking? how did you handle it?

▲ 5 r/Toyota

Hey everyone. I posted previously on the RAV4 subreddit about my 2023 Toyota RAV4 XLE flooding! Many comments were correct, the A/C drain hose apparently came off. The passenger floor got soaked and now the dealership has had my car since last Friday. It will be 2 WEEKS this Friday.

They admitted fault and said extended warranty/Toyota would cover everything. Since it was not clogged, it just randomly swelled and fell off… I am skeptical about their promises but that’s what was said.

Toyota opened some kind of corporate case/escalation report (not sure what the exact name is I think they said like TCAS??), and we do have an extended warranty. The dealership originally told us the repair would only take about 3 days, but now we’re approaching 2 weeks with almost no communication.

The most frustrating part is they refuse to clearly tell me whether there is mold or not. My original service advisor is supposedly the manager, but he never calls back, never gives updates, and whenever I go in person he’s magically never there.

The other employees seem completely clueless and can’t tell me anything about the status of the car.

They all did say the warranty should cover it, but honestly I’m getting skeptical because of how vague and avoidant they’re being. The car also is NOT paid off yet and we don’t have GAP insurance, which makes this whole situation even more stressful if there ends up being long-term water damage or diminished value issues.

I honestly wouldn’t even be frustrated if they would keep us adequately updated but they are being extremely vague.

Some employees kinda discretely told me they’ve seen cars with this same issue be held/repaired for 1-5 months before due to mold removal and many parties having to get involved.

At this point should we:

  1. contact our insurance company anyway?
  2. contact a lawyer just in case?
  3. push Toyota corporate harder?
  4. ask for documentation proving whether mold testing/remediation was done? (and who should I ask because they’ve told me they can’t provide me with any paperwork till we get the car back LOL)

I’ve never dealt with something like this before and I’m worried about long-term mold/water damage issues in a basically new car. Any advice MUCH appreciated!!
