I'm talking mostly about melee units and less spell focus.

With Might heroes having less access to powerful spells (or high level ones), if i have a mostly melee unit roster how do i approach battle?

Do i have to get mass haste to make my army good enough? Is Tactics mandatory in this scenario, otherwise i might lose too many units before i even get to act.

I'm not much of a PvP guy so i dont know whats the "meta" of building an army and how melee-flocused army fairs compared to ranged-focused or magic army.
