हे मनुष्य, तुम्हें ईश्वर नहीं, इंसान बन जाओ।
I was scrolling through reels when I came across a video from a flight. In the video, a flight attendant accidentally touched a passenger while serving him. What happened next stayed with me—the passenger reacted harshly, while the young woman knelt down to apologize, visibly overwhelmed and in tears.
It was such a small moment, yet it made me think about something much bigger.
Why do we spend so much of our lives trying to become powerful, superior, or almost godlike, when sometimes all the world needs from us is a little humanity?
And suddenly, a thought came to me:
“हे मनुष्य, तुम ईश्वर नहीं, इंसान बन जाओ।”
“O human, you need not become God—just become human.”
This poem is not against God or faith. It is a reminder that before seeking divinity, greatness, or superiority, we should not forget the simplest thing—to be human.
To be kind.
To let go of ego.
To protect the weak.
To become a blessing to those who have less power than us.
Perhaps becoming a good human being is itself one of the highest forms of greatness.
