Hey everyone! We often talk about scenes we'd love to see or forgotten scenes from the movies that absolutely MUST be in the series. But since we know the series will be very faithful to the source material, what scenes do you think will be the most difficult to adapt?
Hey everyone! As the title says, what worldbuilding element of your world, trivial or very important, would inevitably be butchered or drastically changed in a series or film adaptation? It could be your magic system, a people, a culture, or something else.
Salut tout le monde ! Tout d'abord, je veux mentionner que ce post risque d'être un peu long, alors lisez à votre rythme !
J'ai récemment remarqué, en regardant Harry Potter et la Chambre des Secrets puis en lisant le livre, que le film enchaîne simplement des scènes sans pause : il est très fidèle au livre (avec quelques omissions, comme l'anniversaire de la Mort), mais trop précipité pour être vraiment apprécié. Et en analysant comment HBO gère certains éléments du premier livre, comme le traumatisme que les Dursley infligent à Harry, son harcèlement à l'école, et de manière générale comment HBO traite ses séries, je peux déjà voir que l'adaptation de la saison 2 sera un vrai cadeau pour eux. Ce livre traite de la possession d'une fille de 11 ans par un diary contenant l'âme d'un garçon de 16 ans, d'un monstre qui rôde dans les couloirs pétrifiant les élèves un par un, de la persécution des Sang-de-Bourbe, etc. Le film était quelque peu terrifiant rétrospectivement, mais HBO peut vraiment faire plus. Le Basilic ne devrait pas être juste une créature CGI qui sursaute à peine : il doit être terrifiant, correctement filmé, et je ne dirais pas non à quelques frayeurs bien placées pendant le combat. Il n’a pas besoin d’être aussi grand que dans le film ; il doit évoquer l’horreur qu’il suscite dans les romans, et même être amplifié. Toute la Chambre des Secrets mérite un accent sur cette dimension horrifique, qui n’a jamais été complètement présente dans les livres précédents. En respectant cela, HBO peut offrir une expérience vraiment captivante sans perdre le charme de Poudlard, des matchs de Quidditch, de la dynamique entre le trio, et de tout le reste.

In making this post, I'd like to clarify that I'm talking about scenes like the altercation between Snape and Harry at the end of book 6: in the book, Snape is seething with rage, while the film still portrays him as a mysterious and calm man who never loses his temper. The scene does indeed adapt the revelation that he is the Half-Blood Prince, but in a very different way.

Hey everyone! I just caught up on the main webtoon and I had a question: why hasn't Tower of God already had a game like Naruto Storm 4? The characters all have an incredible range of attacks, and the combos seem pre-made. For the characters we haven't seen yet, the door is wide open for a dozen DLCs! Even for those unfamiliar with the series, I'm sure seeing the Shinwonryu form of one of the FH would be amazing and enough to convince them to buy the game. Let me know what you think!

Hey everyone! I recently got the urge to complete a shiny Pokédex in my favorite game, Pokémon Sun (or Ultra versions, it doesn't matter). I'd like to ask you what the best way to do this efficiently is (I know it's a long process, I just don't want to get lost along the way). Should I start hunting on the first few routes with a new save file? Or is it better to use an already complete save file and start hunting from scratch?
