Was my first time ever going to Mexico, wanted a sort of shut your brain off vacation without any need to plan anything. The weather was perfect the whole stay which I was worried about before getting there as it’s “hurricane season” but no problems at all. We stayed in Costa Mujeres at Majestic Elegance, the vibes from everyone staying there including staff were 10/10 for the entire week. Can’t wait to go back someday.

Whelp

Not a traditional carne asada but still good.

Marinated some cheap thin steak in, garlic powder, la chinata smoked paprika, lemon juice, Worcestershire, pepper, soy sauce.

Topped it with small dice red onion, and Valentina

[COMC] Finally got a shelf to fit all my games, have a few out of frame like agent avenue, tinderblox and the grimwood. Also got about a dozen more that are wishlisted on a site to pick up at another time. Was just wondering what everyone thinks of the collection so far!

Not pictured my favorite game might still be Dune Imperium, maybe Parks it’s hard to pick just one.

Something I would change is probably how random my purchases tend to be for someone who doesn’t exactly have a group or people to play with, just the girlfriend or a buddy at work during lunch if I’m lucky. Made that mistake when I purchased ROOT, sold it quickly when I realized it didn’t play that well at 2 players, I’d never get a group of 4 together, atleast not at the moment.

The collection is special to me because I never realized the absolutely plethora of unique titles and how many games I’ve seen that immediately grabbed my attention, a lot of people think of just monopoly or scrabble etc when thinking of boardgames not realizing there’s a whole world out there to discover.
