These are some legendary products by the Japanese brand soft99. Quite popular in the diy detailing community.

> The black tin is called the FUSSO coat - Rs950 for 200gm

It's basically a PTFE synthetic wax based paint coating which has water beading qualities and chemical resistance as good as a premium ceramic coating (there's plenty of proof on yt along with durability testing) the only catch being the life of this product is 12 months once applied onto the paint which is insane value imo especially because one tin can coat 20-25 cars.

> The orange thing is the GLACO DX - 650 for 110ml

This too is a similar product but tailored especially for automotive glass. It comes with a built in applicator (the flat grey part you can see on top of the orange tube)

Both of these products have amazing water beading and imo nothing comes close to these in terms of value.

I'll be hand polishing the car before applying these products and these are definitely not beginner friendly so please buy these only if you're actually into detailing.

I'll be making a post about the of these application soon.

Yet another DIY car detail post, RINSELESS wash this time!!

After the recent delhi monsoons the car had gotten dirty so I tried a rinseless wash this time because the pressure washer gets a little too tedious at times.

Products used

- MAFRA rinseless wash

- A 2 litre garden sprayer

- wavex silicone glaze

- 3M automotive glass cleaner

- 4-5 microfiber towels of varying GSM

The rinseless wash is amazing, breaks down caked up dirt really easily and this can even be used as a pre wash if you're doing a foam wash using a pressure washer.

Really happy with the end result!!

Pressure washer cleaning at home. It's fun and the gloss was simply amazing!! (Swipe please & read below for more)

[OC]

Got a new pressure washer recently and after putting in so much work cleaning the car the end result was so rewarding 🤌🏼✨

The pictures show all the cleaning supplies I've used (I used AI to create the illustrations on the 3rd image so please excuse the little inconsistencies in the image).

The car is 3 months old btw.

Here's a list of supplies I've used so far :

- car101 wax infused duster (for cleaning dry dust)

- TONS of different microfiber towels ofc 😂

- wavex all purpose degreaser

- vw car shampoo

- 3m car shampoo

- turtle wax seal n shine

- meguairs yellow wax (the gloss is simply amazing)

- wavex silicone glaze (for tyres and plastic trims)

- amazon basics pressure washer

- shakti foam cannon

- 3m automotive glass cleaner

- 3m dashboard dresser (I just got these last two 3m products so I'm yet to use them)

For the engine bay I used the the widest fan nozzle and made sure that I spray the water from 4-6ft away so at that point the water was more of a mist compared to actual high pressure water that could get into all sorts of places. I didn't directly spray water onto the area where the ECU & battery are located. For cleaning I used the degreaser diluted with water in a spray bottle.

After washing I used an air blower to blow water out of all the connectors and other critical places just as a precaution.

I don't plan on cleaning the engine bay regularly, once or twice a year tops
