Favorite things that aren’t canon but are canon in your head?

Mine

  1. That Draco at the robe shop wasn’t being snooty but an awkward rich child trying to impress Harry

  2. The Potter “Curse”. That they have one person set for them and when they are “set” on them they lock in and become obsessed (James with Lily, and Harry without his knowledge to Draco)

  3. That Slytherins really only harass Gryffindors and anyone who is friends with Harry Potter. The rest of the school does not gaf about Draco because Draco does not bother them, and they do not gaf about Harry because Harry pretty much sticks to his own house. So the Slytherin’s being evil thing is mostly just Gryffindors propaganda

  4. Draco tossed Harry his wand in the final battle

These are the ones on the top of my head. i’ll probably add more when i think of it

Best products

Hi, just wondering what you guys use to shampoo/condition and hydrate 4B-4C low porosity hair that sheds. I’ve been having trouble finding a product that really manages it and hydrates it.

Fic Search / Recommendation

I can’t remember this fic but i know it was drarry, and i don’t think it was bashing. However it was pretty close to canon but had to do a lot with purebloods and their beliefs. It turned out the Slytherins didn’t dislike muggleborns or half breeds because of blood purity but because they don’t try to learn wizard culture (in this i think it had a pagan aspect, because they were celebrating Yule, Samhain, etc, and i think Harry started learning more about wizard culture and what was thought to be ‘dark’ and began to participate) and that muggleborns try to make the wizarding world into a muggle one but with magic. So the Slytherins pretty much weren’t evil just snarky and also believed that the muggle world and wizarding world should be separate.

I remember a scene where Hermione found out about something and was embarrassed and was like “did you know about blah blah blah” and Ron was pretty much like “yeah but i thought you knew and was trying to change it anyways?”

So if anyone has any fic recommendations like this or knows the title of this one. It’d be greatly appreciated :) I’m in the mood for a good series rewrite or an exploration of the pureblood/wizarding world culture that isn’t a bashing fic on purebloods .

Unpopular opinion but

I think if they do decide to give Chloe a romantic partner in the final film, if it’s not Max or Hazel i don’t think they should bother. The cast is already way too huge and instead of developing new characters i’d rather have the ones we have developed.

Wicked Wonderland

So what do you think of the movie and what do you think comes next, the ending didn’t really give much? (Especially with the ending —> i didn’t really get what it was that Pink found in the treasure box at the end???)

Also we have confirmed Luis and Red, who do you think will end up together in the final part of the Trilogy or do you think they’ll expand the cast again and that’s when we’ll see more love interest for characters like Chloe, Pink (though i did notice her at the end with Felix), Hazel, Max and friends?

Red’s Dad and Mal

So two separate thoughts but one i thought it’d be fun if during Wicked Wonderland we put what we think are clues to who Red’a dad is because i don’t think the first movie really has any hints other than the fact that one Red’s dad is probably a Villain since after the prank it’s doubtful she went on to mess with an Hero kid. Plus depending on when Wonderland was walled off then it also means it can’t be someone outside of wonderland.

Secondly, unrelated to the first thing. Uma failing on her first day on the job, but what was the Queen of Hearts going to do when Mal got back and dragon fired her?

The Gabriella Reveal for Louis

I was in a discussion debate with a friend who also watched S3Ep6. I thought it was very obvious that after the panic attack that Louis realized that perhaps Lestat was groomed by his mother, especially with the line about the cousin and the dollar at the bar.

However my friend had a very interesting opinion that i wondered if anyone else also thought. She said that she didn’t believe that Louis actually is aware of the grooming, and we don’t see Lestat ever actually tell him that he wasn’t into it. In fact he does put in an effort to imply he was into it, and give excuses to why it was okay because Sofia and Gabriella to him are two different people.

I said something along the lines of Lestat only says that because he hates being a victim and prefers being seen as a monster. As seen with his telling to Daniel about his turning that was music video esque/“romantic”. I also argued that Louis knows Lestat enough to know when he’s lying to an extent and when he’s pushing back his own feelings to know that something is not what it seems, and he’s able to deduce by Lestat’s own comments.

However she believes that Louis actually is not aware, and changed tunes not because he realized Lestat was groomed and is being emotionally taken advantage of, but because Louis doesn’t like to see Lestat hurt. So he decided to just accept the incestual relationship and because he doesn’t see Gabriella as a threat.

I still believe Louis is aware, but i do agree they were a bit vague with the discussion post panic attack. What do you guys think of this whole scene?

First Watch

I’ve seen a lot of clips over the years and i think i probably at one point tried to watch but i don’t remember a single thing other than the clips i’ve seen everywhere. So as i watch I’m just gonna comment below my thoughts on everything.

Firstly had no idea after all these years that Lucas and Nathan were supposed to be brothers and that was the basis of the show. I read the synopsis before starting it and was like “woah, i thought this was about a love triangle, not two brothers.”

Next the show was very obviously putting Lucas and Peyton together, but based on all the clips i’ve seen i had no idea that Peyton and Nathan had ever been a thing and that they were the OG couple.

I also am surprised that people were so surprised or outraged about Brooke going after Nathan when in episode one she states her interest in him.

Also had no idea that Nathan was such a jerk based off the fact the stuff i’ve seen made him seem like a golden retriever.

Still barely into season one but i do like Peyton and Lucas. Don’t really like Nathan too much but i’m sure they’ll change when he gets with Haley.

I like Haley as well as well as Brooke. The female characters so far are very likable though i’m sure i’ll feel different when they start introducing all the love triangles.

Claire and her return

Considering how Claire was spouting “nonsense when she returned to the present. Why didn’t more people assume that she was kidnapped and used, and that the whole “living in the past” was a coping mechanism, rather than the idea that she ran off with a man. They believed “kidnapped by the faeries” and an affair, but considering Claire is not the first to disappear from that area. She presented with signs of PTSD. You would think that Frank would have assumed that she was so traumatized and in that time “mentally unwell” that she was making up delusions.
