6.5 year old male, 55 pounds, 14 days of amoxicillin 3 times a day. Honestly just looking for words of encouragement that this treatment will still be effective. We obviously didn’t find any other ticks on us or on him but safe to assume the one we found was the one that caused this. We opted for amoxicillin over doxycycline due to the discoloration of teeth side effect (even though it’s low). Is this still going to be okay? Have been told the tick we found was an American Dog Tick which doesn’t transmit Lyme disease but still worried.

Thought hose was too deep. Pulled it out some. Still leaks. It’s bubbling up like soap bubbles and pulsing along with a gurgling noise. How likely is it that I can fix this on my own?

27 yo male, cut my finger on metal can. Had tdap shot in 2019 and on antibiotics. Cut was a flap in the shape of a U. Urgent care doctor opted to use steristrips instead of stitches. Nurse put it on. When she put it on, she didn’t pull it up all the way and I asked why not and she said she did it correctly. 48 hours later, changing my dressing and it feels like a good size bump in the middle of my strip and I’m nervous it’s not going to heal correctly. Besides that, does anything look worrisome?

I have an appointment scheduled with my GP in July (fastest I could get in) then will likely be referred to a dermatologist so more time waiting. Not sure what this is or caused from. Feels like there’s a small bump under the bald spots. Was using nizoral every few days previously now using tsal every other day. I do have the normal folliculitis all across the back of my head likely from wearing a hat and sweating for hours a day at work. I no longer wear a hat unless necessary. Also I don’t think it’s normal balding bc i have very thick hair and no balding in my family. Also not from haircut as it’s been there for a month or two now. Thank you.
