FarCry map wishlists

Just finished replaying FarCry 5 and 6, had my first play through of FarCry 3, what other areas would you want them to go next? I’ve liked most of the maps in these games, my least favorite being FarCry 6, it’s just a really big map with the occasional village and cities (the map looks good visually). Would you guys prefer a map that takes place in an urban environment, or wilderness focused. Personally, I feel like an urban map can change things up imo, like maybe North Korea, Russia, an invaded U.S city like Los Angeles. Especially Los Angeles, outposts on the Hollywood sign, Santa Monica pier, observatory, etc, would be crazy (But doesn’t make sense as a “FarCry” tbh). Not just the environment being different but also changing the gameplay we’re used to. Adding parkour would be a nice change , definitely make the game stand out from the rest. Secondly, has there been any news or leaks about the next farcry game ?

Just replayed Hunt Showdown

After playing marathon for a while, how come I still find Hunt Showdown a better experience. Even if the movement is slow I still prefer it tbh, the guns look good, the graphics are amazing, and the maps are beautiful. Maybe causes it’s way easier to get into? And not a crazy amount of gear fear to worry about? I’m genuinely curious. I was tempted to post this on the main games sub, but I think I’m good😅😅

Marathon is a sleeping Giant

Marathon is genuinely special. The gunplay feels incredible, the movement is buttery smooth, the world and lore have that signature Bungie sauce, and the extraction format actually works amazingly well here.

They fixed so much since the playtests and the current build is genuinely fun as hell. This is gonna be the next Warframe/Rocket League/Rust.

A game that just quietly sits there being awesome until one random month it explodes and suddenly everyone and their mom is playing it.

The foundation is too solid for it to stay under the radar forever, Mark my words: in 12-18 months people are gonna be acting like they knew it was gonna pop off the whole time.

Keep at it and show Bungie some support/love folks! Squad up!

What do you think about Season 3 not adding a complete new map?

I don’t really know much about the lore (never played the OG Marathon games), but this universe feels like it has a lot of potential. From what I understand, a colony arrived on the planet and then mysteriously disappeared. That alone makes it perfect for abandoned facility-style maps, showing how far things got before everyone disappeared/died. Even the cinematic shows a beach biome, and that would go crazy. Only releasing with 4 (including night marsh) maps after 6 years feels wild (unless there’s another reason). And Season 3 just being a Perimeter variant is kind of like… cool I guess. BUT If it’s good I’ll stick around. I still like the art style and current maps (except Cryo Archive since I haven’t played it yet). It’s a nice change of pace from other games.
Do you guys feel the same? Any map ideas?

Read if you’re interested :

First map:
Solar IV: A abandoned intel facility on the peak of a snowy mountain.
POI’S: Dome, Server Room, Cafeteria, Radar, Cliff.
Environmental hazards: Avalanche, Blizzard, Rogue Scan - From Radar revealing everyone on the map.

Second map:
Coastline: The ruins of a coastal research facility.
POI’S: Beached ship [VESSEL RAN], Colony Beach Huts, Solar Fields, The Lighthouse, Marine Biology Labs, Coast Guard Station, Docks, Crater.
Environmental hazards: Meteor shower, Sand storm, Flood (only for Colony Beach Huts), faulty tsunami warning system - temporarily puts certain POI’S into lockdown, Fog.

Third map: outpost inspired
Dry Dock: An abandoned shipyard once used to repair vessels bound for Coastline. UESC forces maintain a heavy presence, defending three docked ships holding valuable intelligence.
MAJOR POI’S INCLUDING SHIP SPECIFIC POI’S:

VESSEL THOR (UESC Patrol ship): Armory, Command Bridge, Barracks, Medical Bay, Engineering, Reactor Room, Captain Quarters - 3 mini bosses, gives keys to unlock major room leading to difficult boss fight.
SHIP SPECIFIC HAZARDS: Reactor core failure - releases pulses of heat that make your runner shell take small amounts of heat, Distress Broadcast - causes UESC forces to become alert and search the area (the alarm would probably be loud too, makes everyone a little nervous lol)

VESSEL FREYR (COLONY SUPPLY SHIP): Agricultural Hold (Dest. DIRE MARSH), Medical hold (Dest. Coastline), Cryo Storage (Dest. Coastline), Logistics Office, Crew headquarters, Shipment [LOCKED] - can be opened by finding key cards around the map, once found, place them into Logistics Office, doors to Shipment open, revealing a lone violent shaking crate.
SHIP SPECIFIC HAZARDS: Cryo System failure - cryogenic gas leaks reduce visibility and slow movement in storage areas, Power Failure - lights flicker, some doors open and close, some areas are pitch black.

•VESSEL [REDACTED]: something is in here.

SUB-POI’S (Outside of the 3 main ships) - Worker Quarters, Dam, Salvage Yard, Crane Control Yard.

Mb if it looks a bit scattered, just had some ideas I wanted to yap about.

SEKIGUCHI sponsored kit

Why is this even a sponsored kit. With the CE tactical side arm I always feel at a disadvantage whenever this is the daily kit, at least with the others I can still get a kill if I play it smart (sometimes even kill blue/purple shields). Is it just bad in general? Or is it recommended to find attachments for it asap when loaded into the match. Also, I’ve been enjoying the sentinel shell in outpost. I haven’t had a problem with assassins since I started using him.
