They should be successful and famous
The sports part of the story should have some relevance, even if it’s not major
She’s ideally not a fan, but even if she is that’s fine
Should be an HEA

We’ll be travelling to Copenhagen in mid-August for a cruise with family, how many days should we account for before departure to see the city well? Our group has a someone that’s 80+ and someone that uses a cane. So, anything requiring too much walking is out for us, but we’d love to explore the city as best we can.

I know a lot of these books are self published, but the lack of editing and terrible formatting and grammar actually hurts my feelings. I’m constantly reading and having to correct the sentence in my mind and try to figure what the author meant. I want well written books which flow well and I don’t keep losing track of the plot to mentally edit every incorrect sentence.

I can still live with your and you’re and there and their and they’re but when the authors start using words and adjectives they don’t know the meaning of, a little part of my soul dies.

I don’t want my FMC balling at the thought of what the MMC has done😭😭

I would also love it if the sentences had a point, I’m so tired of authors just rambling on without making any sense.

A big plus would be the characters not having dumb names.

Open to any and all plots with a traditional HEA.

Does anyone have any book recs where they’re both mutually obsessed with each other? I would love if they both took active actions as well, not just yearning from afar, it would be even better if both were in the dark about each other’s feelings.

I’m not technically looking for a spoiler, but do want to ask someone who has finished the book if it gets less annoying. I’m 10% into the book and all the FMC has done is describe things and use adjectives. Does it get better? Do I power through? Because I am not enjoying this at all, even though I love the premise.

He’s wanted her since she was young.

Has seen her grown up and been an active part of her life

Ideally not a major age gap, him being a full grown adult when she’s a child is weird, but 3-5 years older at max and believing that she’s meant for him is what I would prefer.

Has manipulated circumstances to make sure he gets what he wants

He fully gaslights her.

A power imbalance is a major plus.

She fully buys into whatever he’s selling.

There are so many messed up MMCs in all the books and they obviously do terrible stuff and the FMC is in the right to be resisting and fighting, but I’m fed up of books where they’re fighting till the last few chapters and she only gives in because of the end of the book twist or climax or whatever and they’re only settled in the epilogue

I want a book where she just gives in, she accepts her fate and is like this is my life and goes on with it. I also like FMCs who are dependent on the MMCs

Would love an Academia or Mafia romance specifically, No RH please.

Looking for a MMC without a sad backstory, or one that isn’t a serial killer. I get that it’s supposed to give us an explanation and to make some sense of the character’s behaviour; but I don’t want it to make sense.

MMC should be a normal person with a normal life, who look at FMC, gets obsessed and becomes unhinged in his quest to get her: He doesn’t feel like he’s doing anything wrong.

Would love a morally grey or fucked up character.

Someone like Jesse from Corrupt Idol, but a stalker.

I’ve read everything by C.R Jane, looking something darker and not as lighthearted.

Looking for a dupe or Nyx’s discontinued Powder Puff Lippie. I love the finish of that, it was powdery and soft without being matte or drying. I’m tired of lipsticks being either overly glossy or overly matte. I want something with a barely there effect having a very chill vibe.

This is a super specific request, but I love club scenes in books.

Either he’s watching her dance or he’s secretly buying her drinks or he’s bought a table to spoil her and they walk in together or he spots her in a club and asks his bouncer or henchmen go bring her to him.
