A big plot point for HL2 is that humans have discovered localized teleportation, and the Combine wants access to it.

Them not accessing it from Aperture makes sense, since it's a large hostile facility located underground.

But if TF2 existed in the same universe, then teleportation would've already been invented and understood by humans (since it was invented by the Australians, among another technological leaps)

Anyway, just a thought I had as I was trying to consider the TF2 universe and how it'd fit into Half-Life. Any additional thoughts or counterpoints are encouraged :^)

Planning on making a relatively simple animation, either as a full thing or proof of concept. As someone who has a little bit of experience with 3d software and keyframes/motion tweens/etc, which software would be more user-friendly?

Or perhaps should I learn blender?

Want her to be able to enjoy the games, but she does not have a great computer. I don't think she's tech-savvy, but her partner might be, in order to get it running on the systems I mentioned.

Thoughts?

I'll just be sitting there working on something, or walking, or driving, and I'll remember the location from a dream. A 2-story mall. An abandoned library. A powerplant. A hallway.

All places I've never been in real life, but were probably inspired by real life. Nothing seems to "spur" these memories to enter my head, but it happens about twice a month. Worth mentioning I have insomnia, so perhaps I'm microsleeping and remembering the dream locations lol. But it's still weird bc again, they're dreams i had YEARS ago, to the point where I can't even remember the contents/plots of the dreams. Just the locations.

I've added buttons to my image gallery from oldest artwork to newest artwork, but i decided I want to do it newest to oldest. Would I be able to introduce a css rule to fix this, or am I screwed and have to reorder the buttons manually?

As you can see, the text "Andi's Inventory" fits just fine on web, but on mobile, the word "inventory" isn't center aligned. Adding padding made the word slide even more to the right, so I have no idea what's happening. Wondering if I need to mess with text-wrapping attributes.

CSS lines 50-66

my "imagetemplate.html" runs as normal, but not my "gallery/html/imagetemplate.html". How can I organize my html files and have them run properly?

In-game, when you reach this area, Wheatley reads out the sign and says "that did NOT end well.", but makes no mention of GLaDOS.

In the comic, LAB RAT, GLaDOS is awoken and says she has something planned for "Bring your CAT to work day".

So where is the information linking her to "bring your daughter to work day"? Did i miss it?

As far as I can remember from the lore, Gordon never directly disobeys G-Man or fails any of his tasks. Unless G-Man is talking about when the Vortigaunts blocked him, but it's not like Gordon asked them to do that 🤔

I want the box to hug the word "gallery" more -.-

Looking to create a filterable image gallery, but every tutorial I see uses buttons instead of checkboxes, so you can only use one filter at a time. I'm trying to filter artwork by year, series, and medium. Any advice is appreciated, I'm a complete JS newbie D:

The title of my manga is Mako: Astral Angler. The main character catches souls with her fishing rod.

I've been attempting to use websites like JapanDict to help me translate the title, but I want to make sure I'm doing it right. I'd like to maintain some kind of alliteration or rhyming, like the original english title. Some ideas I've come up with are (romanized):

Mako: Rei Ryoushi

Mako: Kokoro Tsuribito

Mako: Shinkotsuribito (Shinkotsu + Tsurubito)

Any help is appreciated. I know basically NO japanese (I know the gojuon and how to say "nice weather, isn't it?")
