Thor’s Angela team up is so much fun

Which team up do you prefer? I used to run the Hela one when I would come across a lot of brawl/dive, but after using this one more and getting better at cycling my awakening, plus the added mobility, I can’t see myself running the Hela one.

The USM Valor And Why It Makes Sense

One common question or even plot hole for some, is how did the USM Valor get overrun by 1 necromorph?

Based on discussions I’ve read, it seems that some of the community are still in disbelief that 1 necromorph was able to take down a spaceship full of trained soldiers.

Here’s why that was possible.

Despite the USM Valor knowing of the credible threat present aboard the USG Ishimura, they did not know the specifics of it, nor how to handle it. Not to mention how the only weapon aboard the Valor was the pulse rifle, a gun that doesn’t do well against necromorphs.

It can also be seen in the cargo bay that there were only 3 soldiers present. It can be argued that the Valor should’ve taken better precautions before opening an escape pod that was jettisoned from the Ishimura when they knew about the dangers present, but there’s also no reason to believe that the soldiers thought they would be able to manage proper procedure when handling escape pods.

Again, we don’t know exactly what occurred when they opened the escape pod or if it automatically opened upon arrival.

It is theorized that if the soldiers did open the escape pod, the necromorph was playing dead because why would trained soldiers willingly open an escape pod with what can be seen from the window of what is clearly a monstrous creature.

This is the best answer as to how it led to the downfall of the Valor because knowing what they knew about the Ishimura, they wouldn’t run the risk of letting an outbreak start on their ship.

Furthermore, however the transition of chenomorph occurred from the escape pod to overrunning the entire valor, 3 soldiers having never encountered a necro would not bode well for them, especially at close proximity.

CARGO BAY

The interior of the cargo bay seems closeted. With no catwalks, access ramps, cargo lifts, visible monitors, 1 entrance and 1 exit, it starts to make even more sense why 1 necromorph was able to take down the valor.

After having dispatched the 3 soldiers, communication/Riglink would be lost with them, leaving the rest of the crew wondering what happened to the squad sent to investigate the escape pod, and because there are no visible monitors present in the cargo bay, the crew wouldn’t know what just had happened to them.

One thing that was present in the cargo bay were many, many vents, and we all know how necromorphs get around. From there on, Chen would make easy work of the rest of the crew, being able to slip in and out of vents, killing indiscriminately. Many would be caught off guard and some wouldn’t even be able to fire of a shot as how it can be seen throughout the ship of the Valor that some of the pulse rifles were in storage.

With the crew of the valor now running in circles trying to contain what just happened, the Marker would also begin to take influence and affect those on the ship. With mayhem running rampant, the Valor would then crash into the Ishimura.

The rest is history.

[Discussion] Losing a dweller in survival is always a setback, but to lose 3 in a single quest in unacceptable!

My first dweller died due to my carelessness. I wasn’t looking at the screen as he was taking damage, and once I finally did, it was too late.

My second dweller died to a critical attack. Despite him being trained from level 1 - 50 with 14 endurance, it was still too much.

My last dweller succumbed to the same fate as my second dweller. I am unsure if my second dweller was at full health before being killed by the critical attack, which is why I still risked continuing the quest, thinking that a 14 endurance dweller could survive at least one critical attack, but even if so, it would still be foolish to have continued, which is how I ended up with where I am today.

As overseer of vault 426, I must do better. This can never happen again!

[Discussion] Has anyone discovered any new changes in their main vault?

It seems either it’s a bug or Bethesda reversed some of the changes previously implemented for absolutely no reason.

  1. Is anyone able to still get alien blasters when looting aliens? I swear, I have only received one when that change was made, now it seems like it has been reversed because all I get are caps and it’s been forever since I last got a blaster.

  2. Why can’t we no longer equip the soldier outfit on our male dwellers?!? It was such a nice appearance and addition that was seemingly removed for no reason. And while I’m at it, why not allow us to equip the engineer outfit to our male dwellers as well. Heck, allows cross dressing with any outfit in the game as that’s how it is the Fallout games.

What are some good soccer games?

I remember playing Perfect Kick, a 1v1 penalty shootout against another player.

The gameplay was quick and fun. Using your fingers to swipe, you would be able to adjust how fast you want the ball to go, where, and you’d even be able to add curves to it depending on how you swiped when it was your turn to shoot. If you were the goalie, you would use the same finger-swiping mechanic to dive to where the opponent would shoot the ball.

There was also some upgrades you could unlock, such as different cleats to add more power to your shots, upgrades such as tomatoes to visually clutter your opponent’s screen when it was their turn to defend, etc.

Fast forward to today, and I discover that a second game has been made, except this one is unplayable because of all the ads littered in it! You click to play, ad plays, you finish a match, ad plays, you click the settings menu, ad plays. I’m scared to even check anything other than the play button because of all the forced ads. What’s worse is that there isn’t even an option to pay to turn the ads off, which I find sickening.

So what are some fun soccer games? Not looking for anything similar, just something fun and engaging.
