I know the common theme is that Thor isnt as good as he was, but I feel like hes just as good, if not stronger into certain match ups? Like dont get me wrong, genuinely still think hes no where near the strongest tank, or deserving of a nerf. But id say hes b tier? Maybe low a tier at best?
With fewer and fewer people willing to play tank, I got tired of being forced onto Magneto Strange etc almost every ranked game.
I started playing solo off-tank instead and eventually peaked Celestial I using this playstyle. It's definitely not something you can blindly pick every match, but if you understand when it works, it can be a really strong alternative.
I made a guide covering the decision-making, hero choices, and the situations where solo off-tank is actually the better option.
Whether it be buffs, skins, etc. what would you want to see for our beloved Thunderer? I’d personally like a slight buff to his survivability whether it be base health or overshield generation. Or old hammer throw damage 🤷🏽♂️
I do know Thor is kinda bad this season but was able to pull this off. This account is now higher than my main so not a smurf - more of an alt. Ended last season on my main OAA but haven't played on it since, so that account decayed and is now C1 making it lower than this account lol.

Recently ive been trying my damndest to server admin because I know Thor has the potential to run lobbies (kind of). I say I am decent on him, I understand the basic tech of awakening in 1v1s and how to get Thorforce back with the dome and hammer throw. I also know about aiming at the ground especially when facing divers.
I think my biggest issue is that when I have played him, I dont feel like im influencing the game all that much outside of a few strat kills here and there. Probably my biggest problem is over extending and not having enough thorforce or managing my cooldowns so I can escape properly. I really want to do the god of thunder some justice so I was hoping you fellas can help me out!
For context I play on Ps5 and am in metal ranks (gold 1/plat 3)
8hrs and 9958 strokes later and I’m finished for now. I’ll probably touch it up in a year when my skill is improved. But here it is. Hard lighting to get down tbh.
How is it possible/fair that they're adding all this new customization to new skins with accessories though we're still unable to remove our huge Lord of Asgard cape AND they can't give us a simple axe + body hair. The new Captain America skin gives him body hair, a weirdly shaped shield (since some say the shape of the axe wouldn't make the model work) AND a huge dick print. Give us the same treatment! We want an Axe and body hair added to the Unworthy Skin.
