Is it me or is Thor just straight buns in the new game mode
I've tried experimenting with his awakening and surge builds and I feel like there both not that good, atleast compared to others
The lighting build seems good but late game you can't afford to get in the face of characters like mantis or strange because you'll just explode, they have such high fire rates that they just melt you, i tried awakening to keep at a distance but i find the fire rate to slow, everyone else can buff their primary fire using regular cards but since awakening isn't a primary fire it isn't buffed and i don't think there's a thing like ability speed
The only time i got a high fire rate on awakening is if my teammate remember to use their soul stone (i forget to so i don't mind) or if i get some card that buffs my damage and speed in relation to my ult or smthn
Anyone else play this mode more than once and have tips for thor or should i pack it up and go strange?

Is it normal for Storm Surge to cancel if you charge it too long?
Or is there something wrong with my keybinds?
I'm trying to release it when the bar is full but it never works. Do you have to time the release perfectly if you want a full charge attack?

Thor’s Angela team up is so much fun
Which team up do you prefer? I used to run the Hela one when I would come across a lot of brawl/dive, but after using this one more and getting better at cycling my awakening, plus the added mobility, I can’t see myself running the Hela one.

I just started playing him and I would appreciate your tips.
I currently main Magneto so I don't t have the playstyle fit for Thor yet.
What should I be careful for? What playstyle should I have? Is he good?
I would appreciate any kind of advice that would make me play him good.

The majority of characters that got the ripped clothes ended up being tanks because it symbolized the solo tanking situation

hela teamup!
hey guys, mantis main here :) just a quick question about why some thor players don’t know how the hela teamup works.
thor players are some of my favourites to have on my team, but i’ve recently had a champion thor throw an easily winnable game because i wasn’t healing him when he had his hela teamup active. proceeded to flame me in chat, and threw my elo. this is a GM lobby btw.
it’s not the first time a higher level thor player has enabled their hela teamup, and then stood and stared at me as the health depletes and i can’t heal them through it.
GUYS!! it’s devastates me too to watch you die and not be able to do anything about it but PLEASE understand i CANNOT heal you when the hela teamup is activated. AND IM SORRY.
love you guys, hope your games are good and filled with sunshine and rainbows 💕

Just wanna say big thank you to u/kresher94 for the fun event and skin. Very grateful to be given such a cool skin and already putting it to use. Been hoping to get this skin for a while now and am very grateful to be gifted it.
u/kresher94 held an event where he picked his favorite vanguard clip to gift a skin and I was lucky enough to be chosen (for a Thor clip) and gifted a skin of my choosing (blurred his username to keep it private tho, but it was indeed him). I was also fortunate enough to get MVP on my first game with it. One thing that I didn’t realize about this skin that I love too is the sound you make when Storm Surging.
Just wanna make an appreciation post for u/kresher94 being so kind to hold a fun event and gift a skin at his own expense.

Hot take to say the 1.5 second cooldown on Rune after using Surge should be canceled if you refill Thorforce fully via Realm?
Idk I think the way it currently works feels incredibly clunky & if they're gonna make Thor a Rune bot they should at least make sure everything regarding Rune feels as fluid as possible, & doing this would make comboing with Rune feel much better imo.

Okay guys, hear me out.
The path to doomsday event for Infinity War was supposed to release in August, the one for Endgame in October, unfortunately Netease didn't have the time to work properly on it, that's why we're past september and still no Infinity War event, this is also why they said there would only be one hero for this season, so they could work on those events properly.
Now that's interesting, because this means that this month we should normally get the Infinity War event, and next month the endgame event.
Keep in mind this month we are still in the Butcher's Blasphemy, AKA a season about Gorr and the gods (especially Thor). There is a high chance we could get an Infinity War Thorskin.
Now we got "King Thor" a week ago, so that would be asking for too much maybe, but we have seen worse skin distribution than this.
I am praying with all the muscles of my body.
