hela teamup!

hey guys, mantis main here :) just a quick question about why some thor players don’t know how the hela teamup works.

thor players are some of my favourites to have on my team, but i’ve recently had a champion thor throw an easily winnable game because i wasn’t healing him when he had his hela teamup active. proceeded to flame me in chat, and threw my elo. this is a GM lobby btw.

it’s not the first time a higher level thor player has enabled their hela teamup, and then stood and stared at me as the health depletes and i can’t heal them through it.

GUYS!! it’s devastates me too to watch you die and not be able to do anything about it but PLEASE understand i CANNOT heal you when the hela teamup is activated. AND IM SORRY.

only played cnd because i had been drinking, i could barely tell what was going on. the dd and bc who had spawncamped me called a healbot, but i was drunk so i think its a skill issue on their part 🥹

are dps players serious?

Hey! i made a post on the r/strategistmains subreddit about how people are so quick to blame cnd just for the pure fact of stigma around cnd mains.

for context:: i’m a mantis and fox main. i started this qp game on mantis but the enemy was running Spidey, Angela, Venom and BP so i swapped.

i spent most of the time pattycaking with my luna, and we only just lost out at third point. id like to point out when the CHAMPION DD said “cnd heal ffs” i was pattycaking my luna through THREE DIVES.

i’ll try to attach our pattycaking below, as it was HEAVY DIVE.

i’m just not sure why dps do this. me and my second supp are struggling to stay alive (we managed too, and ALSO push to third point just about) and IM getting flamed?

(ignore my accuracy lol, the dive was crazy and i was on call with a friend laughing too much i think lmao)

Cloak and dagger mains stigma is so lame

for context:: i’m and mantis and white fox main, but im a champion cloak and dagger too. and also play all supports.

I play whatever supp i need to in ranked depending on my teams comp, so far it’s mainly been cnd and rocket (they’re easy to climb with rn. i have a 70% wr on both this season).

i’ve noticed i NEVER get flamed on any supp EXCEPT cnd. because i’m a champion cloak cnd they assume im a otp, and terrible at the game and boosted etc etc. has anyone else experienced this?

at the end of the day, i KNOW its because of the stigma around cnd mains and my dps are hard coping but its so lame.

TWICE, my teammates apologised for flaming me since i ended with most heals everytime. and it turns out my other support, dps filling supp, is to blame. but it’s so aggravating, the team does one thing wrong and it’s the cnds fault. or i mess up one thing and everything’s my fault.

it doesn’t bother me in the slightest, but it’s so tilting when it’s consistently my fault throughout the match only for them to apologise when we win.
