I've tried experimenting with his awakening and surge builds and I feel like there both not that good, atleast compared to others

The lighting build seems good but late game you can't afford to get in the face of characters like mantis or strange because you'll just explode, they have such high fire rates that they just melt you, i tried awakening to keep at a distance but i find the fire rate to slow, everyone else can buff their primary fire using regular cards but since awakening isn't a primary fire it isn't buffed and i don't think there's a thing like ability speed

The only time i got a high fire rate on awakening is if my teammate remember to use their soul stone (i forget to so i don't mind) or if i get some card that buffs my damage and speed in relation to my ult or smthn

Anyone else play this mode more than once and have tips for thor or should i pack it up and go strange?

Hey guys new reader here, started this series a few months ago and I'm starting to like it, just finished book 3 and wanted to gather my thoughts before starting the next one, firstly a

I was a bit confused about the starting time skip with the introduction of Michael that harry knew for quite a whilr, thought I skipped a book for a moment, by the end he is definitely one of my favorite characters, I also liked thomas, maybe it's because of his voice actor (I read the dramatized adaptation) and their both whimsical attitude he reminds me of Eithan from the cradle series, hope we see more of him later

And there's susan, frankly I still like her and harry's relationship but boy did she pmo in the ball, idk why all mundane women in Harry's life are written like they're better than him and can handle fighting monsters only to be the damsel in distress for harry in the end, same thing happened with murphy in books 1 and 2 granted I can give murphy some slack since Harry wasn't really beigns open with information on what they're dealing with (She still pmo when she arrested harry in book 2) and she became more trusting this book, I deadass don't understand what walmart lois lane was expecting there, harry told theyre dangerous and out to get him and still went, I can't say she didn't have it coming but I'm still sad she got turned into a vampire, hopefully harry reverses it or I assume this gives her development to be something else

I kinda felt Bianca and the night vampire's plan was a bit ... convoluted? Like they did all that just to get Harry at that party? (Guess she hates him that much) I also kinda felt "The perpertrator must be at this party" was kind of a stretch, for all they knew the sorcereror could've been unaffiliated or not a vampire at all but I suppose that was a risk he was planning on taking since they had no leads atp, If murphy or that officer told him kravos was dead earlier he would've clocked what the nightmare was and not come to the party, if susan didn't show up then they really couldn't have stopped them if they decided to leave early but knowing them they would probably spin some bs to keep them in

Still not clear on the " the rules of hospitality", the way I see it, Harry is not the offending party, they were so ready to slime him for "feeling insulted on the rules of hospitality" yet they gifted him his own gravestone??? (Like to see them try that shit on ferrovax) or is the one who is being insulted be the catering party?

Now the whote council is stepping in, I haven't seen much of them but the impression they gave of from harry's expo made me think of them like the Guardians of the Universe in green lantern or timelords in dr who, they were itching to off Harry for killing his menton on self defense so I wonder what they'll sentence him for when they found out how he indirectly caused a war that hasn't happened in decades

Can't wait to start book 4 later this week! Though i am a bit sad since that is the last dramatized adaptation book currently out and I'm used to a full cast audio, everyone says the original narrator is just as good though but it will still be jarring making the switch 😞

I know you use the right joystick but my control is always crappy, i can't count the amount of times i try to escape but end up wasting my dash trying to turn from a wall, meanwhile i see mfs here doing 90 degree angle with perfect accuracy to kill of an unsuspecting bp, i know the character ability settings are extensive is there one that lets you change the movement sensitivity when using his dash or is this just a regular "git gud"

While this season has been fun i find myself gravitating more and more away from thor, whenever i swap to him je just doesn't work as well and I end up dying more times, his teamups are great but kinda meh compared to most tanks (ngl im sometimes frustrated because when i could have used the hela teamup i had Angela's slotted in and vice versa 😭 but thats just poor judgement from me and not a point Im trying to make)

I figured part of the reason im burnt out is because im too used to doing the same thing, although i can do all 3 (poke, brawl, dive) i mostly brawl so i wanted to solely focus on a dive mindset and while doing that i received my revelation on why i feel like im not performing well, I cant aim for shit, I cannot for the love of me confirm kills

When awakening something about my aim feels jagged, like its not moving the way my brain wants it to, simply increasing my sens didn't fix it so i played around a bit more and i found linear to give me that smooth experience but the problem with linear is that its too sensitive

When diving squishies, due to their small hitbox and my fast movement i miss my awakening shots even point blank ( This happened even on default lol 😅, i noticed the crosshai isnt accurate at close range and i need to aim a bit to the right which made it a bit harder since I've trained to always tunnel on the crosshair)

Everyone recommends keeping your sens high for better kidnaps and maneuvering in surge and their right! But doung that takes a hit on awakening which is his biggest strength

I test in practice range alot and i can hit my shots but that doesn't replicate all the variables when playing with real people

Is their a guide that goes in detail what every control setting does ? I feel like im close to that desired outcome, if i know what each setting and advanced setting does i feel like i can get it to where my aim and aim assist work together without conflicting

Or maybe im just ass 💔

What are you guys sens and how did you get good with awakening

Haven't a watched a movie in a theater for a long time and bought a ticket for Spiderman 4 later this month, i chose the one in seaway mall because it's closer bit after seeing a few pictures, the screen seems kinda small, is it a perspective thing were its bigger in person, how about the sound quality? Im considering changing my mind and watching it at landmark at pen centre, anyone who's been at both is there really a difference?

So my mom came to me today needing my help because she got a shipping confirmation email for something she did not order, I'm fairly versed on the different types of scams, I at first thought it was one of the common ones impersonating a popular brand or delivery service since she gets those alot but she lost her wallet and had to change her card recently so i decided to look into it more and after doing some digging I think it's legit

The company is called Naked Copenhagen and the delivery were for shoes, it came with confirmation email, invoice and promotions, and a message from dhl giving me the tracking number.

I followed the link to find the order details which lead me to their website which is actually their website and not a crude fake one that's barely passable when you squint your eyes (I compared the web address that came was the link with their website when you search it on Google and it's the same no typo)

The billing address was in new Zealand and it ships to somewhere in hong kong, there were the last 4 digits of the card used attached to the order and my mum confirmed it wasn't any of her cards nor did she get a charge from any of her banks so I'm not too worried but I am perplexed, could this be a scam? if so why?

I assumed maybe the buyer misclicked when putting their email except the name of the receipient of the delivery is also my Mom's full name, so the person used her email and name but not her card or address? My guess is whoever did this scammed someone or is paying with illegal means but don't want their name on the order so they probably pulled her information from one of the numerous sites that has been hacked (not much I can do about that) as a deterrent, is there something else going on? Should i be worried?

So cassie brought back all the sleepers of forgotten shore (maybe even caster?), her aspect is just more and more crazy, the applications are endless, I wonder what the "G3 never kills off characters" camp will think of this 😭

What a way to end the volume, definitely in my top 5, now the volume has concluded what are y'all thoughts overall and where do you think the plot will go from here?

If g3 is still deadset on the 3500 chapters then we have quite alot, 5th nightmare and / or divine natural ascension / 6th nightmare, shadow weave reclamation and FG fight, are we really getting all that in 500 chapters? If they're as long as these last few chapters are then maybe but if its his regular word count with his word salad, it'll probably extend to 3800 ch or so 🤔

First of all, I'm going to start by saying that while this fight was somewhat enjoyable, it was NOT without its criticisms. I, for one, expected it to be capable of speech since the cursed beings above demons we've seen so far are able to somewhat communicate. However, I'm seeing a lot of people putting VTB on a pedestal he really never was on to begin with:

"How is VTB losing to 2 supreme titans?"

Because it was being debuffed three times. To be honest, I think Ananke's debuff was kind of negligible. It was mainly affected by Nephis's enforcing its shadowbond authority and Sunny's charm, which was being enhanced, weakening it. I'm seeing people saying that Moth or Abjuration could defeat VTB. What? We already saw the outcome of an unweakened VTB against Sunny and Nephis; he got speed-blitzed and one-tapped twice. They only had a chance because they were prepared. If Sunny had encountered VTB instead of Moth, or Nephis had encountered it instead of Abjuration, they would've both died instantly.

"The void beings and gods feared VTB."

They hated it, just the way I hate the pigeons that defecate on my car. We already saw a glimpse of how the VTB operates via Ananke; it doesn't even have to be in the near vicinity. You just find some of your items missing, only noticing when it's too late. If that isn't annoying enough to hate, I don't know what is. No, the VTB does not square up against gods and voids; it is a thief, it steals and runs. Also, Weaver definitely let that bird steal its eye to store bloodweave, so its escaping Weaver is not the feat you think it is.

"The VTB is too dumb."

I partially agree with this. I didn't expect it to act like an actual bird, but the reason I don't fully agree is because some of you all think it's Aizen. I'm seeing people saying G3 retconned VTB because its escaping the tomb was all part of its plan, and I just find that dumb. For all that to work, the VTB somehow knew the true nature of the Nightmare Spell. It would die. It would recognize if it was a conjuration of the spell. Somehow know someone would enter the Estuary and take their fate to be recognized by the spell. Sounds ridiculous. You might think it's plausible, except when you really think about it, there are far easier ways to achieve this:

It could occasionally scour the river for Nightmare participants or steal one of the fates of the Verge challengers when they arrived and wait until the nightmare is conquered instead of waiting thousands of years in a place where corrupted and non-corrupted people couldn't reach.

It's more likely the VTB made the Estuary its nest at some point, afterall it is a place where corrupted cant get in because of the guardian and the flame cant get in because of the wall of corruption, maybe attracted there because it was the heart of the baby Nightmare Spell. When Nightmare Sunny came, it stole the shiny thing it had at the time, its fate, and it's spawn. Leaving the Nightmare was an unintentional boon. I suppose you could argue that it is only someone fated that could free the VTB from the Nightmare, but we have nothing, either from memory descriptions or abilities, that hints it's proficient in reading fate, so that seems like a stretch.

"How did a domainless supreme beast Nephis hurt VTB?"

The main boon of a domain is its source of limitless essence and more weight to your will. It's unclear how much is added to your will, but definitely not enough to overpower a cursed creature, since Nephis almost got overwhelmed by Abjuration even when she had the will of humanity. Not only was it severely weakened even more at the time, people forget Nephis' sword has enchantments that stack. It does more damage to things the more corrupted they are, it does more damage the less cores she has, and her knowledge of corruption increases damage to corrupted beings. All of that, concentrated at a single point on a weakened VTB, was enough to hurt it.

People have been putting the VTB on a very high pedestal and getting mad when it didn't reach their expectations. That being said, it is not without its criticisms. I found the "only stealing shiny things" a bit of a McGuffin, to be honest. I feel like it would've been better if the VTB couldn't steal certain things until some conditions had been met, which might've been better because at least it wasn't that the VTB didn't want to but couldn't. But instead, G3 made it so it could probably steal anything but doesn't because it's hindered by its intelligence, which brings me to another point.

I didn't expect it to be Aizen levels of smart, but also not a... bird? Hell, in comparison, even the Soul Devourer seems smarter than it. Who knows, the VTB was said to be unique. Maybe it's a good and bad thing? It has the mentality of a titan but the intelligence of a beast? I don't know, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I suppose i kinda agree the fight didn't feel desperate enough which is crazy considering sunny is on the brink of death, his plans on dealing with the bird went out the gutter and humanity is on the verge of extinction, we have all these things, sunny says one attack from the bird would end him and yet I don't feel... scared for him? Idk, it lacks something which i can't define something that's in, say, red rising where even though the main character always come out on top all his plans has that hint of danger or urgency (not that im trying to compare, different settings, writing styles, etc and I kinda prefer ss over red rising anyway)

Overall, it was kind of in-between meh and great. I feel like it would be better on a reread when the volume is done or without the constant POV switches, which we will most likely get tomorrow. Overall, it felt like a 6.5/10 for me. 😮‍💨
