I like the human/humanoid bosses (Super Destroyman and Henry being my favorites) well enough, and some stuff like Velvet Chair Girl and the SSB reference when fighting Damon was pretty funny, I don’t like it as much. It has my least favorite Travis design (it’s mainly the fuckass skinny jeans, seriously go back to the baggy ones he has in 1) and I don’t like the lack of the harsh shadows like in 1, but I appreciate the weirdness of it all and it can be fun, but I definitely prefer the previous two, and also don’t see how it’s story is connected to the themes of the first two, unless the point is that Travis has finally completed his character development and we don’t need more

Personally, it’s Henry for me, he works very well as a foil to Travis, pretty much being the Vergil to Travis’ Dante. Plus he’s just so much fun to fight against, for me the most fun fight, easily worth getting every beam katana. The other bosses are fun too, and some (especially Jeane) are harder but it’s so much fun that I don’t even care. Bad Girl, Jeane, and Destroyman are great, too, but he’s my absolute favorite.

Since I Need A Weapon (the Halo modpack) got added back into nomad after the update I’ve been using it, and a few things are missing from the version before the big update. For one, the covenant carbine and beam rifle are just straight up gone. For another, there used to be a bunch of different colored energy swords, but now there’s only the normal one and the rgb one from the cursed halo weapons. Biggest thing is there’s not waves anymore. Anyone know what’s going on with it?

I know the obvious ones of Conan and Barbarian by Electric Wizard, but what other bands/songs do you think would work?

I’ve seen the 1982 movie and have been reading some of the comics, where do I go from there? What are some good stories to start with?

My friend and I are starting a Wizard Themed Psychadelic Doom Metal band and I’m on guitar, and I’m wondering what all I need. To start off I’ve found a used guitar, as well as an SF300 Super Fuzz pedal to start off with, but I do plan on adding more pedals as time goes on. What are some useful things I’ll need? I plan on eventually getting 2x12 amps as I’ve heard those are the best. Is there a specific guitar I should get? What are some specific pedals or effects I should go for? The sound we’re trying to go for is something reminiscent of Conan, Electric Wizard, Church of Misery, and Uncle Acid, if that helps.
