Not really sure what sub Reddit to post this on but, I have a question about port docks.

I recently bought a dock for my iMac, is the Wavlink wl-ug69pd25 pro
I read a few reviews about the dock and it seems to fit my needs, yet there is one issue that people talk about, many say that it dies in a few months about 8, I think the reason is heating up components and there being no fans to despite the heat, could my theory be correct because the dock is hot to touch, the QA says it’s normal but I think not.
I bought a 9 dollar fan from a 99cent store, and it significantly cooled the dock, is my theory for components inside, overheating, and dying, correct?

How to make multi compatible charging mousepad like powerplay? To work with Logitech and Razer

I am trying to make a homemade charging mousepad or at least a area to charge my Razer ballistic V3 Pro and Logitech G502 X Lightspeed, dose anyone know how to make this mousepad, kinda like the Logitech power play but compatible with Razer and cost less? I want to be able to charge all my mice with to the little puck on the bottom instead of using usb c or buying other accessories for each mouse.

At my apartment, I always had not the most stable connection, I can’t figure out why, offten whenever I play games I get large ping spikes as 40ms, 34ms, 1830ms, 4820ms, 53ms, 20ms, sometimes timeout. I tested ping gateway, but I got stable 40ms connection, no issues there, the wierd part is that my parents have no issues with their WiFi or Ethernet, they say all other parts of my apartment are fine. Only in my room I have issues, not sure why.

Home network layout:
PC1, PC2, iMac Ethernet — 5 port gigabyte switch non poe — room satalite — WiFi — router/modem mixed — cox cable

I am not fully familiar with home networking, can anyone please help me and please ask any questions!

So I have an iMac with some startup apps like stats for Mac, rectangle, Alfred 5, Logitech g hub, and most importantly karabian elements. Karabien elements lets me set custom keys for my keyboard, e.g. if I press f13 Mac goes to sleep, fn + / opens terminal. I have all these apps start at login, but I want to be able to make them start at boot, even when I dident first login, I have full access to the system, have root account enabled from directory utility, and have sip disabled, is there any official way of setting apps startup during boot not even login, or any un official way that anyone did before? I also can give the applications root permissions because I trust them very much.

So I knwo i can probably look this up somewhere, and I tried, but I think I have heard of misinformation. I need to ask a professional or someone who knows much more about this cable than me.

So not so long time ago i was tryign to turn my persinal unenroller chromebook into a Linux running laptop, short story, I was able to but only with physicly opening the Chromebook apart, taking the battery out, waiting for chromebook to stabilize and not flah no more because i disconnected the battery, then had to flash the firmware with Mr Chromebox Tech coreboot firmware, then after reinstall battery and reassemble the chromebook. Before that, I tried using a suzyq cable that I got from ebay, plugged it into my main usbc port, was in developer mode, tried to enable physical preference (PP buttons, aka power button), then Chromebook powerwashed, then tried to disable WP using CCD with the
suzyq cable. In the end, I think I failed.

know I
Now this is where the questions begin. First of all, was this step-by-step correct, did I miss a step, or anything? I'm pretty sure, but not fully, that PP, the power button of a Chromebook, third is suzyq, suzyqable, and Chromebook debug cable, all the same cable, just different names for the same cable? What is the main purpose of a suzqq cable? I heard it is to access low-level chips on the Chromebooks (Ti50, Cr50), and disable write protect (WP) using close case debugging (CCD). Is my assumption correct? Now the main questions: can a SuzyQ cable be used to disable WP using CCD?

If I did something wrong in the steps, please correct me.

I am sorry if this Reddit post sounds wrong. I know that I probably know some of these answers and could Google them, but I'm quite confused and want to ask a professional more knowledgeable than me. Please help answer my questions.

Also I know i only need the cable or the debug board itself, I have both.
