I rocked my shit the other day in a very odd accident

My mechanic told me the fork i need measures 28.6mm in the top and 35mm at the base, but the 35mm measure seems very weird to me since all the parts ive seen on ali express are 28.6mm at the top and 39mm at the bottom

The point is, can i use any fork that is tappered and has the correct internal cable routing?

Has someone replaced their fork on their diverge? I have the one that has shimano claris 2x8.

Is it possible to fix or recalibrate elevation gain on the app?
I really like All Trails, and I cycle a lot. Everytime i go on a ride the elevation gain is too high, in would get like 1000+ meter than my friends who are riding with me and recording their stats with other apps (any app)

For example, this ride was at most 1200m elevation gain, but I am getting like 2520m for some reason.

The thing that annoys me is that this would also affect the calories burnt since alltrails considers I did more effort, which I did not.

Does somebody knows how to fix this?

Hello! Right now i have an entry level gravel bike (Specialized Diverge E5) with Shimano Claris. I’ve been thinking serious about upgrading it to a proper gravel groupset. I have found some deals. I found a SRAM APEX (Mechanic Brakes) for 570USD and Shimano GRX R600 for about 120 usd more.

Is the upgrade worth it? Or should i just consider buying another bike
