Thoughts on the Acer Nitro v16? (I know nothing about computers)

I’m an engineering student and my old Mac just can’t handle stuff like Autocad and so I wanted to upgrade to a good windows computer that isn’t crazy overkill but is still good. I was planning on getting the Acer Nitro v 16 with the i7 chip, 16gb ram, rtx4060 and 512gb ssd storage. Is this overkill for running cad programs or not enough? Is there an alternative laptop that is better? Any thoughts are really appreciated.

What are some good laptops for a mechanical engineer that will have enough computing power for CAD programs and enough battery to last the day?

Not too picky on weight, size or price. I know some people also use tablets and have success with that. I have a MacBook that can barely run chrome so I think I need a new computer lol

Looking to replace my brake rotors with something better…any recommendations?

Looking for 203mm diameter and 1.8mm thickness. I was thinking of sticking with the stock Tektro replacement that it came with but I feel like I’ve eaten through these rotors pretty quick.

Question about 2005 Specialized Sequoia Silver Road Bike
