i just long pressed a dm and suddenly it got marked read? i thought its just the same with how other social media works like to not let the other party knew youve seen it?

I’m looking for advice because I’m really stressed about a situation involving a GCash account that I reported.

A few weeks ago, I availed a service on twitter and paid ₱x,xxx as their assistance fee. I voluntarily sent the payment because I agreed to their service. However, after the servi e started, I received little to no updates, and they ultimately failed.

At the same time, I came across numerous posts and discussions online from people claiming they had bad experiences with the same service. Because of the lack of communication, the failed service, and the negative reviews I was seeing, I became frustrated and panicked.

Acting on those emotions, I submitted a report regarding the GCash account involved. Later on, after further communication and understanding the situation better, I realized I may have acted too quickly and that there may have been a misunderstanding on my part.

The account is now reportedly under review / temporarily disabled, and I’ve already contacted GCash and submitted a request to retract my report. I’ve also expressed my willingness to cooperate in resolving the matter.

My questions are:

1. Has anyone experienced a similar situation where a report was retracted?
2. How long does GCash usually take to review a retraction request?
3. Is there anything else I should do to help expedite the review process?
4. Do I really need to have my retraction complaint notarized like what the other party is demanding, or is that not usually required in GCash cases?
