The resurrection of The Souths Famous Catoosa County Sheriffs Dept. Patrol Trans-am.
1979 Pontiac 4-speed Trans-am. Fastest Patrol car I have ever drove
My 1979 4-speed Pontiac Trans-am Patrol car. This was the most impressive Patrol car I ever had the opportunity to drive. In fact, I once was clocked speeding over 170 mph by Georgia State Patrol while pursuing a Bank Robbery Suspect on I-75 S North of Atlanta. I had just turned 18 years old, at the time I was unaware I would become the Youngest Certified Deputy Sheriff in Americas History I was 17 when I was Certified still in High School. Rodney Bearden is my Name. Catoosa County Sheriffs Department in Ringgold, Georgia. Honorable Sheriff J.D.
