Which game do you recommend most that combines TD and other gameplay?
I used to played that combines TD with roguelike elements, which gave me some fresh experience. Got tired of the traditional TD gameplay.

I just finished designing two new monsters for my game.
They’re loosely inspired by classic fast-food mascots, but I’m trying to push them more into a creepy, post-apocalyptic direction instead of making them feel like direct parodies.
Right now I’m not sure if they look threatening enough, or if the designs are still too “funny” instead of unsettling.
What do you think could be improved?
Should I make them more grotesque, more zombie-like, or keep the weird mascot energy?
Hi everyone!
I'm a solo indie developer, and I recently started working on my first tower defense game.😋
The idea is pretty simple: defend your base during the night, scavenge for resources during the day, build defenses, and try to survive just one more wave.
To be honest, I'm still figuring everything out. Game design, art, VFX, marketing... there's a lot I don't know yet, and every day feels like learning something new.
I joined this community because I'd love to meet other developers, learn from your experiences, and hopefully share my own progress along the way.
Looking forward to seeing what everyone else is making. Thanks for having me!
I’m currently working on a free base-building system for my survival/tower defense game.
I really like the feeling of building a safe place in the apocalypse, so I want players to freely place walls, towers, traps, and other structures.
The problem is balance. If players can place everything freely, they might create “perfect” layouts that make zombie waves too easy.
How would you balance free base building without taking away the fun of creativity?
