Looking at a 24-105mm F4 on eBay and asked the seller if there was a spot of fungus under the front element, with a screenshot.
Checked the advert and he’s clearly used AI on both pictures of the front glass to remove the fungus and removed “no fungus” from his description.
Thank god you’re at least better protected on eBay….but what a prick!
Hi, when looking through the viewfinder, half shutter click auto focuses no bother. When I switch to live view on the screen, half shutter doesn’t auto focuses at all. I’ve check custom functions and everything is set to 0 (I’ve also reset all custom functions). Lens is set to AF, all works fine apart from Live View AF
Am I missing something??
I’m wanting to get a used treadmill for 400 and under. Couple of options available but I’ve no idea really if they’re any good. Aiming for 2.5-3hp motor and something that can handle heavier users as I’m about 115kg myself. Anyone know anything about these?

Slightly annoying - I bought a Silenzio and parted with my DF64 Gen 2, the noise of that thing gets on my nerves to much 😂
Silenzio arrived today and the bloody top burr is missing a screw!
Surely a seller must know, but then again, it was filthy inside!
I’ve cleaned it thoroughly but wonder if anyone knows the specific screw I need for this? I’ve seen M4 10mm mentioned elsewhere?
Started with a Delonghi Dedica EC685 with the Sage Smart Grinder Pro, then a Gaggia Classic Pro (2019) with the DF64 Gen 2 and now the Lelit Mara X V1…..this is a hobby for me that I love so I think the grinder will be the next upgrade, potentially the Mazzer Philos or Mahlkonig E64WS as I’m tempted by a grind by weight

What timings are people running their shots at? Due to the “pre infusion” my machine seems to run for about 8 seconds before kicking in to full pressure of about 8.5 bar. The standard 26-30s shot time I’m used to on my old Gaggia……would that be 34-38 for example now that it’s not pushing out pressure for the first 7/8 seconds?
I know it’s all subjective to taste but I wondered how others are dealing with it

Absolute belter, first time I’ve really taken the machine to pieces and cleaned every part of it. Once done, the static is essentially zero and the grounds are coming out lovely lovely and fluffy!
Forgive my artwork, my new (to me) Mara X V1, upgraded from a Gaggia Classic Pro. Overall workflow I find much easier as a stock machine. This thing has had many hours cleaning and polishing after buying used and neglected
