Started with a Delonghi Dedica EC685 with the Sage Smart Grinder Pro, then a Gaggia Classic Pro (2019) with the DF64 Gen 2 and now the Lelit Mara X V1…..this is a hobby for me that I love so I think the grinder will be the next upgrade, potentially the Mazzer Philos or Mahlkonig E64WS as I’m tempted by a grind by weight

What timings are people running their shots at? Due to the “pre infusion” my machine seems to run for about 8 seconds before kicking in to full pressure of about 8.5 bar. The standard 26-30s shot time I’m used to on my old Gaggia……would that be 34-38 for example now that it’s not pushing out pressure for the first 7/8 seconds?
I know it’s all subjective to taste but I wondered how others are dealing with it

Absolute belter, first time I’ve really taken the machine to pieces and cleaned every part of it. Once done, the static is essentially zero and the grounds are coming out lovely lovely and fluffy!
Forgive my artwork, my new (to me) Mara X V1, upgraded from a Gaggia Classic Pro. Overall workflow I find much easier as a stock machine. This thing has had many hours cleaning and polishing after buying used and neglected
