I have 2.5mg caps with Loxoral as the filler. Can the contents be dissolved in water the same way as the ones with Microcrystalline Cellulose? I’m looking to experiment with an ultra low dose of 0.01mg, and the 2.5mg caps are all I have access to right now. Can I still do it?
As the subject suggests, I'm curious if there are any good bagless vacuums out there. As a disciple of this sub, I absolutely understand bagless is not as good as bagged.
And, yes, I understand bags are also more hypoallergenic. I don't need the explanation about why bagged is better than no bag. (In fact, I ditched a bagless Shark for a bagged Kenmore last July -- I DO get it.)
I'm just wondering if there are any decent bagless units out there. Maybe they're not AS good as bagged, but can still have decent-to-good suction?
Considering a switch to a lower-priced phone carrier, and I'd love some real reviews on Freedom Mobile if anyone has used it. I have read other reviews on Reddit but they're coming from places like Toronto and Vancouver, and obviously the setup of Winnipeg is quite different than those. Thanks in advance!
A friend wanted to meet at FP for brunch but we drove past during normal business hours and it was closed. I know they were shut down about 7 months ago for health code violations -- did they not ever re-open? I just re-read the post here in the sub (along with all of the enlightening comments about how Avi used to run the place, egads), and it seems like there were/are newer owners who bought the place a few years ago. Is it just gone for good?
Trying to get my ducks in a row to watch the Tour de France on Peacock (which is NBC Sports) -- Phil Liggett is the commentator, my favourite, so I like their coverage. I've tried a few live sports apps on the Firestick but Peacock often isn't offered since many of them focus on European streams. Does anyone know of an app where I can stream Peacock?
We're doing home renovations and have had to store an Ikea bed frame in our garage. The garage is an old wooden structure and it's very damp in there (and smells damp). I was not in favour of storing the frame in there but we had no choice, there was nowhere else to put it.
There's no question the frame will have picked up the damp smell. I don't see evidence of mold/mildew on it but the damp smell will definitely have permeated. (And for all I know, there's already mold starting.)
I've been planning to TRY and air it out and let the sun deodorize it -- but the way this summer has been going, we're not getting long enough stretches of dry, hot, sunny days where it can stay outside. And anyway, I'm not convinced that will be enough.
Is there anything I can use to de-smellify this thing? Would an enzyme spray help to any degree? OR is it a lost cause?
To clarify: the mattress is not in the garage. There is no headboard. The frame is a wooden frame (raw pine I believe) with metal legs, covered in fabric.
I wrote to Proctor and Gamble for a second time (I first reached out a year ago) to ask why we haven’t seen any of the new unscented Tide powder in Canada. Last year they told me it was because stores hadn’t decided to carry it. The answer made no sense, but I was willing to be patient in case it was just slow to get here. BUT, 12 months on and we still have nothing. So I wrote again this week, and got this very disappointing response. (Photo attached.)
For anyone who doesn’t want to read it: it’s not coming, they don’t see a demand for it in Canada so we don’t get to have the powder. Pods and liquid, sure, but no powder.
HOWEVER, if a bunch of us write to them and let them know we DO want it, you never know what might happen.
As the title suggests, I use a coconut-oil based deodorant and I'm struggling with getting the rancid smell out of the armpits of my cotton t-shirts. I have tried a pre-treatment enzyme spray but no dice, it's not touching it. I use appropriate enzyme detergent and Downy laundry sanitizer but I can't seem to get the smell out.
I don't have time to do a spa day on my shirts every week to deal with this, so I'm hoping there's another solution here. Any ideas? I was pondering trying to sink-wash the pits with dish soap to break down the oils but... I don't know if that's just going to be a waste of time. Not sure. Thoughts? Ideas? Tried and true tips?
