HC3 certificate (Scotland)

Scotland —- Need help understanding this certificate. I get LCWRA and ADP my partner works 2 days a week and also gets ADP. Last month we got a letter demanding payment for dental treatment, neither of us have ever had to pay before but apparently we’re £90 over the UC limit for free dental care (I’d like to add we have to spend £40 to get to the closest NHS dentist) thankfully that treatment was covered by my maternity exemption but I’m no longer covered. I applied for an exemption certificate and I’ve been sent a HC3 it says ‘for nhs dental treatment wigs/ fabric support you pay a maximum of £227.73.’

So it’s not a exemption and I’m still expected to cover the cost even though I’ve explained to them I can’t afford to - I’m type 1 diabetic with Gastroperisis so my teeth are not good and they never will be no matter what I do. I had to take a loan to be seen for a emergency root canal which caused me to not eat or sleep properly for 3 days with my medical condition that’s not ok but I had no choice as I had no money. Is there anything I can do? Something else I can apply for?

2 year old girl mums…

How are we doing?
Currently I feel like I can’t even take a breath right, the tantrums are unbelievable. I’m being hit, having things thrown at me and have a tiny little toddler point at me and screaming in gibberish. Even with time out in her bed it doesn’t seem to make a bit of difference she literally rules the house. I sat in my own living room in tears after being kicked and punched and screamed at all day, I know that’s terrible and I shouldn’t have cried infront of her but I just couldn’t bear it a second longer. She eats ALL day so it’s not that she’s hungry, thirsty etc it’s purely not getting her own way

Insurance

Hi all! After my post the other day about our lovely new puppy I’m hoping on here is the right place to ask. I’m in the UK and I’m looking for pet insurance. I find the policy details etc very very confusing, my partner is dyslexic so he is as lost as me, we don’t have anyone to ask so. Looking for recommendations, we’d obviously like him covered as much as possible, he won’t be working, or doing dangerous activities.
Many thanks (happy to answer any questions as I’ve probably not covered all bases in post) 🤞🏼💕

New puppy ☺️

Just wanting some tips for anything training related, also the nipping- how do we stop it other than a NO and turning away. He’s only 12 weeks so I know these things take time but it’s the most bothersome at the moment 😅

Looking for tips

EDIT- I have asked on another group specifically for my pump and been advised to try and change my glucose target so I’ve done that and hoping that’ll be issue resolved. Leaving post and this update for anyone who may find themselves here in the future ☺️🤞🏼

Currently I use Ypso mylife with Libre 3+ (I’m in the UK)
My Time in range is 93% HOWEVER I’m now at 4% for lows and have been told this shouldn’t be about 2%. How do I go about stopping the hypos? It’s not my carb ratio, I’ve included my graph for today where you can see I haven’t eaten but I’m still going low.

diabetic neuropathy vs restless legs

What does Neuropathy feel like? The last few years on and off I’ve experienced pain in my legs (only ever at night) it’s not tingly, numb but it’s like my muscles are going to come out my legs if I don’t move them and now it’s started in only my left arm (also at night) it’s helped by hot water bottles but it’s now keeping me awake at night. I do take Omeprazole, Mitrazapine and Ramapril at 10pm but these symptoms have persisted before I was on these meds so I don’t think it’s related. I’m trying to work out if it’s Neuropathy or Restless legs

Netflix- worst ex ever

Season 2 episode 2 features this mad man and his ‘partner’ (victim). I’m not sure I’ve ever seen someone less deserving of an appeal being successful, he should be in there forever
