Catholics: why are some of you so defensive about what is and isn’t a rosary?

For context I posted this on a rosary sub reddit and as you can see from the comments everyone has been bashing me for posting this, almost taking offence to it like damn calm down 😂 I only saw posts from Catholics and thought I’d add a different religions take on something as simple as a prayer bead to highlight a different take on this common item but it felt like me and the creator of the sub reddit were criminals and basically anyone who said something sane or logical like “this is a rosary, just not a catholic one” was also blasted to oblivion.

My understanding of prayers beads and rosary’s are essentially that they are the SAME thing. To praise your God with. I was really taken aback at how some of them even stooped to such levels as calling my prayer beads as evil.

What are your thoughts?

My humble collection, started in early days of January

Started off with six 1/4 oz britannias and one untamed landscapes 1oz coin. Now have gotten two more 1oz Britannia’s and 1oz maples. Total of 6.5 ounces. Pretty happy with that, looking to get a 5oz bar next.

Guidance on multimetal rounds

I am fairly new to silver stacking, and came across this site that sells unique designed coins. I am aware that these are not bullion and cost more. But I’m just curious on whether these silver coins that are coated in black platinum and 24k cold are worth while getting as a novelty or are they just duds. This coin is minted in Cameroon. Anyone heard of this site? Any advice would be appreciated.
