Hi, 19M here
I've had ADHD all my life but only recently got diagnosed with it... I tried non stimulant meds (Atomoxetine) for about a month and it didn't work instead it made me more sleepy then my psychiatrist prescribed me a stimulant(methylphenidate) and I'm currently at the lowest dose(10mg) for about a week now but it's not really working either, it makes my heart rate go up and instead of improving my focus it just makes me horny I don't do any drugs but i struggle with motivation and enough dopamine to focus and study Before all this a doctor prescribed me lexapro and while it did help me with my depression and anxiety, it also made me emotionally numb and more non serious....coffee does help but it's not enough...
