Not really a digital nomad, but I'm a self-employed fiction writer (meaning utterly unemployed😅) I like to write in mostly uncrowded, quiet corners in public places. What places, bars, cafés or even public parks (with wifi) in Málaga would you recommend? Or perhaps public libraries? Not interested in paying for coworking space; plus, they're too antisceptic for my liking.
I was surprised by how few open businesses there are in the mercado. It's a ghost town. I spoke with one of the open business owners. My conversational spanish is not very good, so beyond the fact that we were there during normal business hours and that the closed businesses were all permanently closed, I didn't learn much. Is this due to a single economic shock? A perpetual bad economic situation (generally)? Or some history specific to the mercado itself?

Not from NY state or the general region. What gives? Is this area subsiding and becoming swampy? Did a historic heat wave wipe out the forests?
So preacher-curl benches are typically at 45 degrees. I was wondering if curling at maximum flexion of the shoulders (if you're standing, that means arms pointed toward the ceiling) isolates the bicep better.
I tried it. Instead of standing up while doing cable curls, I lay down on the floor, face down, elbows pointed toward the pulley and cable curled back over my neck. It it felt like I got a good bicep workout. (I sure got a good stretch on lats.) but I can't tell you if it was better than preacher curls or different than standing curls.
What do physiologist and biomechanics say about this exercise? Does it even have a name in the weightlifting world?
I see some astonishingly bright colors on this sub. Has there been a (relatively) recent advancement in color inks? Or is the brightness of color an artifact of newly inked tatts?
Other than the usual initial enthusiasm and curiosity, and beyond the usual small but dedicated groups that end up as long term players, have any of the alternative-to-d20 systems shown promise as a hobby mainstay? Despite the age of the hobby, I still think there is plenty of room for innovation. Just waiting for the planets to align, so to speak. Is anything emerging as more than just "niche"??
I usually am sore the day after hitting a muscle group, then slightly sore on day 2 after, then not sore on day 3 after. Does soreness provide a reliable guide as to when a muscle group has recovered enough to hit again?
Currently, I am hitting muscle groups on day 4 after working out (in other words, the second day of no soreness at all). Not sure I am at optimal intervals.
Has a branch of economics in academe done any research into the economics of depopulation? I have heard of degrowth but that seems premised on the idea of deliberate efforts whereas depopulation would lead to "forced degrowth".
