Whose eggs are these?

Was fishing on the AuSable River(Alcona Dam Pond North Eastern Michigan) and my line snagged these eggs(I think they’re eggs). Anyone know who they belong to? I’m thinking snail since I saw a few snails in the water.

Mutualism based animal species

Sorry if this isnt the right sub, but I think its the closest for my question.

Does anyone have any animals that exhibit Mutualism with multiple different animals in their eco system?

All the examples I found online seem like one species to one species relationships.

In my example im looking for one animal that has positive or at least neutral relationships with many animals in its eco system. I know this will likely be an extremely rare thing in nature but I figured I would ask anyway.

What kind of turtle is this?

The dachshund picked this little guy up in the yard, we are wondering what kind of turtle this is? (And ultimately what to do with it)

Juvenile chipmunk/ground squirrel/squirrel? SE MN

About the size of a chipmunk, but with no stripes and a distinct reddish fluffiness to its tail. It bounded away across the driveway by landing and taking off from all four legs at once, rather than two at a time. We have chipmunks and gray squirrels that live/nest on our (suburban) property, so I assume one of those, and just a juvenile? Thank you! I am relatively new to MN and still learning about the local fauna. (I have seen a couple of red squirrels nearby, but the lack of ear tufts on this lil' one - plus never having seen one in our yard/trees - makes me guess probably not.)

Florida. A little animal my cat found in December.

Florida. Found in December 2025. This is about an inch and a half long (3 cm). At the time that I found this, I remember looking it up and the name I found was a name I had never heard before (not vole, not mole, not shrew). I think the name was only 3 letters long or so, and may have contained a v. It was like "vin" or something short like that. Anyway, now I can't find any reference to that weird word I found back then, and it's bugging me. When I googled the word back then, it said the animal had to eat every hour or die. Once again, it was an unfamiliar word that was NOT shrew, vole, or mole. thanks!

Washington State - Feral Guinea Pig?

This tailless little (rodent?) appeared on our ring feed early in the morning. I am not as familiar with the mammals of Washington State but this appears to be a guinea pig? Will link the ring video in a message

Any help with identifying who is leaving these little tootsie rolls?

SOLVED: by u/specimenhustler this is definitely toad poop lmao...just what

About an inch and half long and half inch in diameter. Thank you in advanced. Location is SW Idaho. We get a gift like this every other night or so on our driveway, and its always just one

Psa: do not use the term "scat" when searching for a sub to help ID animal poop. I am now also mortified by the freshly uncovered and worrisome depths of beastiality

What animal is it?

Hiking near the river in Southern Louisiana and ran across these. They don’t look like gator or raccoon tracks to me. Thoughts?

I made a game designed to get you out in nature and help you ID wild animals

I hope ok to post. You photo an animal and it IDs the species and brings it up on your screen for you to battle & catch.

You can build out your encyclopaedia, it works with all animal species, including birds, bugs and other beasts.

Over 500 unique species have been identified worldwide so far by people playing the game. It has a competitive element, where you trade / battle with other players, the animal capturing is the part that hooks people.

You can see some of the species caught around the world so far on the map here (view on desktop): https://playanimalis.com/

You can also download the game on Android / iOS at the same link: https://playanimalis.com/
