At this rate, he's going to lose the senate leadership race before he can even worry about 2028

CA Lt Gov race is D v R

Fiona Ma (Treasurer) previously faced a sexual harassment accusation (settlement reached), but has the endorsement of the Chinese American associations, and is highly favored to win against former Democrat Gloria Romero (Steve Hilton’s running mate)

Josh Fryday (Newsom’s former Chief Service Officer) did not advance

My thoughts as a Steyer Bro

1: Xavier Becerra is still the better choice of the two, and I hope that the people who chose him in the primary hold him accountable (don’t forget about recalls)

2: The primary election, while hilariously understaffed and inefficient, was not rigged, and the one week after law is fine

3: Good luck to Nithya Raman, LA is better than nothing

4: YIMBYcrats never die

5: If you’re reading this Tom, then thank you for running, you really helped make the race more progressive, and your efforts will be seen within the next two decades
