Who else dislikes Shion's Cleavage?

Shion is somewhat a fan-service character, I get that. But it gets to a point. The anime genuinely undercuts Shion's character for some bounces in places where it is not just unnecessary but harmful to the plot. I'm rewatching Suphia vs Shion, and at this point in the story this fight was genuinely a serious fight, or it would be if Shion's boobs weren't in the way. I like Shion's character, I think there is a depth to her character that is massively underrated. Although I know her character's depth probably won't be expanded upon and that the fanservice is probably why, I can accept the frequent fan service, but the fan service mid-fight is where I draw the line. I don't think anyone here likes the fanservice, because making fan service mid-fight brings up uncomfortable angles. Like during dynamic shots, her breasts gets long as hell, sacrificing impact frame budget for long boob fanservice is crazy.

I love this sub

What take on this sub had you asking, "Are you off the meds?"

I'll start, the Sa D Bo agenda scaling him to yonko has me dead rn.
Another one is the akainu agenda, a modern masterpiece. Saw someone say Akainu can 1v2 shanks and mihawk. By the end of elbaf, Akainu will be scaled to joyboy level, by EOS he'll be universal, his power is lava, but I have faith in the agenda.

These are my thoughts on the Shanks and Mihawk arguments. Sorry for the long form, couldn't trim it down

Haki man - this idea normally accepts the premise that shanks is weaker at swordplay without haki than mihawk, after his injury. It also normally accepts the idea that Mihawk does not have conqueror's haki. It thus proposes that the strength of Shanks' haki allows him to still be stronger than Mihawk, after his injury.

Problems with this idea: This idea accepts the idea that Shanks would lose without haki as a fact. This idea that Shanks would lose is not a fact but it is treated as such, it doesn't take into account the strength he could have gained by training his right arm. Another problem is assuming Mihawk doesn't have non-swordplay powers himself, with the introduction of the god's knights and Imu, it is becoming clear that haki, although powerful is not the only ability that could give someone strength outside of swordplay. This argument was born as a possible route that shanks could've have gone to maintain his strength, treating it as fact is what causes it to falter.

World's Strongest Swordsman - This is based on the idea that Mihawk's title as the strongest swordsman in the world is proof that he is stronger than Shanks. It also normally accepts that Shanks was Mihawk's equal until his injury. It claims that the person referred to as the strongest swordsmen must be the strongest person that is a swordsman.

Problems with this idea: It makes assumptions that counter the narrative. Mihawk being referred to as only the world's strongest swordsman, highlights the swordplay not his general strength. By trying to claim that Mihawk's title refers to general strength and not just swordplay, one unintentionally says that Zoro is looking to be the world's strongest man with a sword, and not the best at swordplay, which goes against the narrative. It also undermines the strength of swordplay.

I have a weird belief. If Shanks and Mihawk fought 1v1, Mihawk would win but Shanks is still stronger than Mihawk. If you're a swordsman fighting a swordsman without a devil fruit, you are bound by the laws of swordplay, sure you can shoot haki lazer beams and what not but the one with better control of their sword will win. It's when fighting non-swordmen that shanks shines. Mihawk is not a monster because of his general strength, he's a monster because when he's holding a sword he can do things with it that not just anyone with a sword can do. Zoro needed Conqueror's to cut kaido, if Mihawk was in the position he would cut through Kaido like he's butter, not saying Mihawk beats Kaido though.
