This is so frustrating. They rejected Blinkit's license, but are they at least going to ensure there's a reliable alternative for students and working people who depend on quick commerce?

As a student, quick commerce is genuinely important to me because I often don't have the time to go out and buy essentials. It doesn't have to be Blinkit specifically, but there should be a strong substitute.

Right now, Somoi just isn't cutting it. Most of the products I need are out of stock, and the app itself feels unfinished and unreliable. If anyone from the Somoi tech team is reading this, please take it as feedback—the app seriously needs improvement in terms of performance, UI, and inventory management.

I understand that local vendors are struggling, and they deserve support. But the government also needs to consider the public's convenience. Instead of banning or rejecting established quick-commerce platforms without offering a comparable alternative, why not promote a model where orders are fulfilled through local vendors rather than dark stores? That way, local businesses benefit while customers still get fast and reliable deliveries.

The goal shouldn't just be to stop Blinkit—it should be to build something better. People need a platform where they can actually find the products they need, get them delivered quickly, and still support local businesses. Right now, we have neither.
