Model rec (1080p BluRay rips to 4k)

I'm new to Topaz and AI upscaling. I have a bunch of movies from the 90s and 2000s from mostly Blu Rays I've ripped and store on my plex server. I want to upscale many of them to 4k using topaz. What is the best model for taking already decent looking 1080p (and some 480p).

Running on a m5 max MBP. Looking for a nice balance of speed and quality. No HDR.

Reason being I recently upgraded my home theater to a monster 158" screen with a native 4k projector (JVC NZ800) and at that size, the difference between 1080p and 4k is actually very noticeable.

Why is transcode bitrate higher than original source? remote playback

Source bitrate is 17.7Mbps and when it converts automatically - bitrate actually jumps to 21.3mpbs. Bandwidth not an issue for me so not a big deal, but just thought it was a little strange. Anyone know why?

10GbE...how did I ever live without it?!

One of my favorite things about this new Unifi gear is the 10gig local connections. Crazy to think that the bottle neck now is the speed in which my UNAS reads/writes. Transfers that use to take hours now only takes minutes!

Slow recovery…but it’s getting there

Full poa annua in Pacific Northwest growing on 100% sand base. While the winter weather was mild this year, we got hit hard with microdochium (pink snow mold) - even with regular fungicide apps between October-February. By April the lawn was still looking pretty rough so I tried liquid fertilizer and iron and the thing immediately turned around! Granular is much easier (and safer) - but for those who like things level and are growing on sand - I think liquid fertilizer is the best option.

This is my 6th year with this lawn and first time using liquid food and I don’t think I’m ever going back to granular.

Buying after market parts from Flying Spares

Has anyone had experience with flying spares? Specifically the non OEM parts they offer. Im looking for a right motor mount for a 2017 Bentayga. Dealer says I have to buy the pair and want $4500 for the parts. I found just the right mount (aftermarket) for $1500 and was wondering if their aftermarket stuff is legit?
