I recently bought one 2nd hand. Works great. Is it possible to attach modern phones to it as a speaker? I bought a female 30 pin but it doesn’t seem to fit the connections on dock. I tried a male 30 pin on it and it was very tight so don’t want to force it onto dock. Closer inspection shows it looks like it is home printed. Are there any decent female 30 pin to usb c out there that are known to work with dock?

Had PAYG smart meters fitted on Thursday with £150 plus on both gas and electricity from old key and card top up method.
Balance hasn’t transferred over yet but I’ve been paying to top up until it comes through.
On phone when booking the operator said the engineer would put it on the new meter on the day. The engineer said he had put it on the queuing system and it would take a couple of hours.
Nothing today, phoned BG and was told it would take 48!hours.
Asked for a manual push and was told no.
Surely this shouldn’t take this long?
Anywhere this can be bought online or is it gigs only. The official UK shop doesn't work and going via the official US site a lot of the stuff is out of stock. Can see 3rd party t-shirt printers doing replicas and stuff, but would prefer official.

Coming to end of deal and want to move away from them, but unsure how fibre is installed to premises from street.
I have this BT legacy thing on the side of my building which had a phone line connected before I moved in. Do they piggy back onto this and feed into house?
VM comes in via my garden and into my living room, but I want fibre to go about 18 inches to right of photo into my office, but any connection from the street would be over a monoblock drive to this preferred location
Obviously I'd prefer to not have drive ripped up nor any cables overground.
Would just like to know these things before setting things in motion
Been with VM for 20 years and signed up on the legacy NTL system. Don't use the email address except for details with VM, contracts, renewals, etc. so never check it.
Missed the whole myvirginmedia switchover to vm/o2 stuff and only found out when I tried to access myvirginmedia a few weeks ago.
Put in my email address and password. Failed credentials. Tried resetting my password but the backup email address isn't one of mine, so password resets never reach me.
My email client still works (thunderbird) using the old credentials but to every other part of VM, I am locked out.
Tried phoning them a few times and getting absolutely nowhere. Have asked for fraud team and a technical escalation but nothing.
Luckily, no changes have been made to my package, but not to say it won't happen in future.
Anyone had a similar experience and how did it get resolved?
