What guitars do you find best for jazz fusion

Ive been looking for a new guitar recently and trying to get that alan holdsworth Guthrie govan tone

Does anyone have any info on this squire strat

I got given this guitar recently and have started fixing it up it surprised me at first as even though its a squire it plays extremely well and has a select by emg humbucker which i have never seen on a strat before im pretty sure it is Korean made and its a 1994 model
