To me, Bharatanatyam is more than a dance, it is a profound spiritual discipline and an ancient art that reflects my culture. When a dancer’s hands form a *mudra* to tell a timeless story, they are touching the divine. I wanted to capture that exact, fleeting magic in something tangible. I created these earcuffs featuring the cosmic dancer, Lord Nataraja, and classical *mudras* as a personal dedication to this ancient art.

I’ve always been amused (and slightly obsessed) by the Yali. That fierce, graceful, half-mythical creature carved into temple pillars and gopurams has this strange energy – protective, playful, and powerful all at once.
Trying to capture even a fraction of that feeling in jewellery is one of my favourite parts of the process. These studs came from that place. The arching form, the detailed fan, the soft pearl drop… I wanted something that feels rooted in our culture but still light enough to wear every day.

Specs: Made in 925 silver, UV coated for hypoallergenic and long lasting plating, 18k gold used in 1 micron thickness for plating.
