I was trying to figure out what these beads are made of. Had to read through this whole thing to figure out they are made of "beads," Would love to know what they paid for this embarrassment.
I have something similar to this but am missing the bottom base. The unthreaded rod is .5 in and the plate needs to be about 7 in. I realize an exact match might be a long shot, so willing to improvise size and shape. It's a 60s antique brass finish (not real brass) I'm just befuddled with naming the parts to search for and where. eBay wasn't fruitful, the pic above is from an Etsy listing. Thanks for any help

I just pressure cooked a batch of Peruvian beans for 40 minutes on high, and they are still crunchy.. added pinch salt baking soda, garlic and onion. This happens all the time, is it me or old beans?
I wash everything produce wise, but the lady on the Internet said that it's really hard to wash off the explosive diarrhea parasite off fresh produce and cooking is the best way to kill it. What are you guys doing?
Has anyone done the eBay coupon they are promoting? You get to give 20% off plus the usual fees. I'd do it to move out inventory. They also don't deduct the 20% from your earnings. They bill you 45 days later, which means tracking and accounting for the hit that's coming.
