Does anyone know if someplace in town sells surf wax or do I have to go out to Rustico?

My child wants to learn to skimboard but our old board needs some wax.

I was on my annual father daughter camping trip last week when a song came on the playlist I share with my daughter specifically for the trip came on and I remembered something from when I was her age. The song was “She Blinded Me With Science” which was huge when I went on a trip to Colorado from Florida and back.

This trip was kind of wild looking back on it because it was literally 18 puberty aged kids (coed), two adults and two older teens who were meant to be chaperones. We travelled on a school bus and camped out every night. This was the early 80s so I would check in via collect call a couple of times per week. About a week in I called but nobody answered.

No big deal, maybe I missed them. Called again later and still no answer. Tried the next day, same thing. This went on for over a week but I don’t remember exactly how long, could have been two weeks.

What I remembered though was the panic that I had obviously blocked out. The fear of abandonment hit hard, in my mind they were either dead or they had up and moved while I was away. It turned out that my AF had accidentally cut through the phone line while trying to install sprinklers.

It is wild to me how something totally normal (phone lines used to go down for various reasons) had such a big impact on me.

Calling all Calypso 3D scan measurement experts - please help!

I'm currently tasked with a rather large project rescanning and measuring airfoils. Each airfoil has a measurement regime across three airfoil sections and all of the measurements are working except for one. I did not do the initial programming in Calypso and although I am my companies SME for scanning we don't normally use this software at all so I'm struggling to find where the issue is.

I have performed these measurements on two different airfoils to ensure that it wasn't a scan/STL issue and it happens on both. I have also checked the program vs the two other section programs and other then nominal values variation everything seems to have the same basic setup so I'm unsure where to go from here.

What I've Checked:

• Alignment
• Clearance Planes
• Characteristics Nominal Values and Tolerances
• Features - Feel like my issue is here but don't know where to start but only 4 out of 13 features programmed are green boxed on left

Any suggestions at all for anything else to check would be appreciated.

My 2023 Pro S goes in for the battery test recall tomorrow and my dealer has to send it to the neighbouring province for the test and potential repair. It could take up to two weeks and they are giving me a loaner car that’s unfortunately gas while my car is in the shop. Does anyone know if I am on the hook for the gas used while it is in?

I just want to plan ahead and cringe at the thought of buying gas at this point and in the current market. 😳
