Travelling to Taiwan, scared of being offloaded..
Hi all. I have an upcoming travel with my parents and boyfriend on November, I am a bit worried with my bf and I getting offloaded. Here are some details that might be relevant and the documents that I intend to prepare prior to the flight. This might be lengthy, if you have the time, I would highly appreciate your insights. Salamat.
Mom: 58, Single, Employed - managerial position. Has multiple banks totaling to 3M. Frequent traveller, has multiple entry visas.
Dad: 62, Single, Grab driver. Has 1 bank account with 150K. Travelled through HK, SG, Macau but records are on his expired passports
Me: 30, Single, Unemployed - financially dependent on my mom due to psychological disability (with PWD ID). Has 3 bank accounts totaling to 150K + joint accounts with mom + joint account with bf. Travelled through HK, Macau, Taiwan, SG but records are on my expired passport.
Boyfriend: 32, Single, Employed - sales consultant. Has multiple bank accounts for commissions but only has one bank account (our joint account) that has savings which totals to 20K. First time traveller. Lives with Mom and I, has IDs bearing the same address as us.
I'm mostly worried about me and especially my boyfriend since he is a first time traveller and does not have a lot of money in the bank. Would it be wise if I deposit some money just to rack up his ADB / BB? How much would be reasonable if I were to do this? Or would it raise more red flags?
List of docs I will prepare:
- Bank certificate with ADB
- COEs / company IDs of them
- Itinerary
- Hotel booking confirmation
- Flight itinerary
Is there anything else that I can add? I've read about guarantor letter, is this applicable to us?
