I am (f/38) my friend ( f/38) exhibits D.A.R.V.O tendencies ( defend, accuse/avoid, reverse, victim, offender) and she's hard to present disagreement to. She puts me down and judges me for what I wear and how I think and feel. Recently was the last straw for me.

She said something and I mentioned it was out of pocket... She doesn't acknowledge it and then she blows right over it and almost a week or so later hasn't acknowledged my absence which is not like me at all... I've known her for 20 something years and I chose to go silently out of respect for myself and again she's highly confrontational so what good would it do.

She's also a shit mom letting her 13 y.o smoke weed, gamble, have unlimited screen and gaming time, he has had interactions with the police already 3 maybe 4 times. To her it's always someone else's fault.

Being away from her has made my mind easier to mind. When I'm with her I feel on edge.

But damn me if I am not sad about her behavior and what all these years must not have meant...

Just as the title explains I got a vehicle through auction/ consignment ( top gear Auto in Forest Lake mn).

The consignment shop uses kbids as their selling platform.

1. I don't feel Kbids is liable.

2. I'm not sure yet how Top Gear is liable, I don't think they knew about the vehicle besides what the owner said to them and what car fax showed.

I bid at auction/ consignment through k bids on a 2010 Ford escape.

I bring vehicle home.

I understand what 'as-is' implies, I understand inherited risks associated with used cars, I've seen Matilda.

Less than 200 miles later I'm driving and the car literally breaks.

I tow it to auto body close to my home and the paperwork says $3,500 to fix and literally the structural frame is rotted out from rust. It's a total loss. I should mention The MSRP for this vehicle according to the auction listing says $5,590.00.

I did not have them do anything.

It has been sitting for 4 weeks while I gathered my information and it's been so damn stressful I needed to finish my work project before taking this on...

I go to the dealership that serviced it only 84 miles prior to the milage listed on the kbids Ad. To get the service report. The car fax report lists only vague service information.

The Carfax report indicated An alignment was done and I've learned that with an alignment traditionally you would have seen this rusted out K-Frame area that's really hard to miss when given the opportunity.

I get the paperwork and sure as anything dude it says "this car should not be driven. It is not safe due to the frame rot".

I don't think that top gear knew that and although they express they don't do inspections and they don't inspect for safety...

They do have liability when taking on a vehicle for consignment,in their paperwork, when you're giving a vehicle up for consignment" You're attesting to thE condition of that vehicle"?

I have verifiable proof that whoever gave that vehicle for consignment knew what they were doing. ( THE HISTORY REPORT FROM APPLE FORD)

according to the Hx report 2 days after they get this information they go back to Apple Ford to clear all the info management systems info and they reset the garage door opener they take out all personalization from the electronics of the vehicle.... That's intent to sell....

I'm thinking now....

That person is going to get rid of it.

I have proof that they failed to disclose what they knew and they unloaded it...

What's more:

When I called the dealership to ask about the information in the history report for these services on this vehicle The gal on the phone knew what vehicle I was talking about! She couldn't believe that they sold the vehicle and that it was as a driving vehicle.

Furthermore, on the kbids website they upload YouTube videos from the consignment place driving the vehicle to demonstrate that it does what the description says... I. E runs or doesn't.... That's usually expressly stated in k bid lots... This vehicle lot said "sway at high speeds"....

The paperwork from Ford says otherwise.

Like seriously what the hell?
