Help Learning Black Metal Fry
I have got my fry down enough to sing along to stuff like escape the fate, but I'm having trouble transitioning to matching up with black metal singing. I understand many bm bands figured it out by fucking themselves up and hurting themselves or using bad quality, but I'm not planning to record and just do hobby singing. I want to naturally get that sound. Im not looking for crazy stuff, but a good example of some bands I want to sing along with are Nocte Obducta and the fry on Isengard (not darkthrone though). I understand I will sound a little different since I'm female, but I would at least try to match up with Marz Riesterer. I just am trying to figure out how to transition my fry from sounding like screamo to black metal. Is this possible?
