Lighting models for your printing project!

Hey group! I am working on a custom motorcycle faring and needed a few lighting options. These are meant for two wheels, but four wheels will also work!

I went pretty heavy on the detail so they look sharp for renders and marketing materials. Fully dimensioned and tested. No string attached. DM me if you want the link!

Learning Complex modeling in Fusion for new product design

Hi Reddit! I used Fusion to work through a few advance modeling tutorials designed for the Solidworks guys. I have the full native Fusion models available if you wanna give them a try :) Here are the links to the Learn Solidworks videos that I used

**These videos are freely available on YouTube and offer a great challenge to learn from.

Make a Toothbrush: https://youtu.be/RLOv_lzahDM?si=EBRlBWO9LDgAjmT-

I am always working on new training models in Fusion to help spread the Fusion awesomeness! Just DM iF you want the native Fusion models. Cheers!!

Overkill on a killer motorcycle light

Fusion has this really great modeling environment called "Hybrid". This is an assembly workspace with all the articulation and assembly relationships in one modeling window.

Why is this useful?? I use it especially for end user models where I don't control the design, but still need an accurate representation of what I am buying for my designs. I have all the assembly functionality without the messy part files scattered through my library. What a great option! Thanks Fusion :)

Model:::I need to use this light in my assembly..Ya, I know I over didi a little hahaha :)

OC on my reference models.

How detailed is too detailed for the humble end-user model? I know reverse-engineering a part down to the sub-millimeter level straight from a promotional photo is absolute overkill... but there’s something insanely therapeutic about doing it anyway. Cheers!!

Upwork is not working

Hi group! How have you succeeded with Upwork?? I have tried and tried to get even one project but no matter what I do I just cannot seem to secure anything. I have been trying for two months and still nothing. I am usually a patient guy, but this is not sustainable.

Who am I? I am a vettern mechanical designer with 26+ years in the business. I specialize in complex 3D modeling for mechanical parts, think motorcycle fairings, air plane components, and other kinds of stuff. I am very good at what I do, but that does not seem to matter with Upwork.

I have posted many project outside of Upwork so they can gauge my experience level but it still does seem to matter. Advice pls!! How long do you wait until you give up?

Complex surface design in Fusion

Hello! I specialize in complex 3D surface modeling. I just recently complete a 3D scan to CAD project that maybe you wanna check it out? This is a totally fun modeling job that I really enjoyed. I hope the owner follows up with a IRL version!

I am constantly adding cool projects to my design journal. Maybe have a look: www.facebook.com/DYhawkRidingco

I can also help those needing a guy like me. This was a requested project from a guy with a scanner and discovered that the modeling is maybe a bit too difficult for him. Cheers!!

To the aspiring passport bros wanting to get out for the first time

Hello! I am offering my extensive experience as an older full time passport bro, and possibly a place to land here in the Philippines if you need some guidance. There is nothing more scary than being by yourself in a new country, inexperienced, not knowing how to get around, and not knowing the rules.

I have been that guy and ya, it will remind you that you have a pulse. I have also been scammed 5 different ways from women that I thought I could trust.. there is nothing worse then landing after an 18 hour flight and ur ride doesn’t show up. Better hope you brought the local cash with you for the taxi ride home and some lunch😂😂.

If you see that guy in beat up clothes standing by the taxi you have ur eye on, he is there for a reason. He will charge you as much as possible for loading up ur bags in that taxi, and you know he knows the driver. It’s borderline scam, but for the guy who doesn’t know any better it’s an easy trap to fall into. Better hope you know where ur going so ur not metered to death taking the small roads home (long ride, equals big tip in addition to the ride fair).

If you wanna come to the Philippines for that girl you’re talking to then go for it! Wanna meet someone while n ur here?? No problem, lots of women to choose from.. just be charming and a nice guy. Be ready to pay for everything. If anything happens you I can help dig you out of trouble.

I would highly recommend being prepared to live like a local. Go to the local sweatbox gyms, eat at the local food sellers, shop at the local markets. There is nothing worse than coming here and being confined to a condo on the 15th floor and the shopping mall circuit.

Do you like motorcycles?? Me too! You can tour all the twisties like Marilaque hi-way. Are you a coffee drinker?? Lots of local shops all over the NCR, I visit many hidden local spots every week.

::Come to Jesus moment::
Just keep it real, don’t buy into the sandy beach dream vacations they sell you. The Philippines is messy, loud, crowded, smells really bad in some places, and can test ur patience on the daily. This is a third world country.. nothing is free…they count to last peso here so dont expect something for nothing. However, The Philippines can be a life changing experience if you have the right attitude, like it was for me when I started coming here ✌️✌️

Hi group!

Do you want a small accessories bar for your Duke 200/390 V2? If so, then you are in luck! we know that the Duke's real estate for accessories, GPS/CarPlay and other gear is very limited. We can help with our powerful little plug-play upgrade. We can offer a new position for your gear while keeping it off the bar and clear of the LCD panel.

we just finished the final development and testing of our newest Nose Gear product for the Duke 200V2. We are extremely happy with how this turned out. It fits perfectly on your bike and looks beautiful!

**sport mirrors and mini window are totally optional.
