If I'm reading it correctly you have to be within a certain radius to get in the virtual queue for pins or any shopping? I was secretly hoping to be at work as I can't go. And how did everyone get notified about the Gold Member “Atlantis” 25th anniversary pin that sold out today??? What am I missing. :)

I thought Disney pin traders were hard core. After seeing the posts about the Lorcana cards today I think "move over Disney pin collectors...there's a new intense collector in town." There were streets that were shut down in the UK and massive traffic jams in Florida all thanks to Lorcana collectors. I had no idea that a piece of laminated paper beat out metal and enamel. LOL

I'm still not even sure what Lorcana cards are but apparently they are a hot item!

I have over 2000 subscribers. The subscriber purchases the subscription through a learning management software and pays for it through Stripe that is integrated. I am unable to change the price through the LMS. They tell me that they just don’t have the ability to change pricing on their end so once it is set for that subscriber it’s set for life.

They suggested I reach out to Stripe because I can manually change pricing for future Auto renewals. The issue I am coming across is that there are over 2000 people and I’m not at a place where I can manually change every single one as it is too time-consuming.

I’m a little overwhelmed by the process and have been researching it a little bit. Has anyone done this before?

I’m sure that a call to Stripe might help?
I also saw that there is software that might be able to help with this?

I can't get to the parks that day as I'm sneaking this in before work in the afternoon. Maybe it's too nuts and I should avoid?

I've never done a pin drop, but I will be in Anaheim on a Tuesday and thought I'd give it a try. I'm not going to a park so I'll be racing to Downtown Disney. Thanks for any and all advice!

I have a friend shipping me some items from the UK. She bought them at a store and yes, she really is a friend. The items are worth about $1000 USD. I'm planning on insuring them through the Royal Mail (that's the cheapest shipping I can find) because international mail can be tricky and if they do get lost I'd like to get money back.

I'm assuming the package will list the amount of insurance on it. I know that US allows up to $100 in gifts to be shipped duty fee. If I were to claim the items only cost $95 how likely is it I end up in trouble? If I claim that it's only $450, is that more believable?

Am I the only person who claims something that is expensive as a gift under $100?

And, I'm thinking the package may list the insurance thus negating my chances of having them believe it's a gift under $100.

To be honest, it's possible these items would be under $100 if you didn't know anything about them. Some are trading cards and some are pins, but if they do an internet search they would learn it's worth more than $100.

I’ve been trading through FB and am thinking of trying some trades here. A few questions…

It seems people share their trades back with the original poster in the same post instead of messaging them. Is that preferred or can you message the OP with your trades?

Perhaps the facebook group no longer exists, but I have a feeling it does and I was booted. 😂 

Now you may ask what possibly did I do to be booted from a group dedicated about complaining? I created a post stating I was surprised by how much drama there was over pins and referenced the recent drama where there was an emergency WhatNot auction called, @ everyone tags and screenshots. I didn't call anyone names. I didn't take sides as I don't know these people. I didn't even vent that much. I posted a picture of someone eating popcorn and stated I was surprised that it's a "as the pins turns" kind of hobby. 😂 

The next day I was booted from PyroGuys FB page. Blocked. See you later.

And now I think I've been blocked from the vent group's page.

I'll wear it like a badge of honor. I'm now a byline in a drama story.

One can then deduce that whoever is running the vent group is friends with Pyro which means his ego must be really fragile. I find individuals who have low EQ struggle with anxiety, insecurity and anger. I hope he finds the help he needs. No one should live with this much anger over pins.

On a more positive note, I've met some lovely people and have had so many great trades through the mail. When I got into this hobby I thought I'd trade only the once a year I made it to Disney. I've had so much fun trading with so many wonderful and kind people through FB. I may be brave and try trading through Reddit soon too. 😊 I find 99% of everyone in this crazy hobby to be so kind.

I have never purchased anything overseas from an individual. From a company with a website I have, but those seem to just come to my house and I don’t pay any extra tariffs on anything? I’m currently working with an individual who is going to Disneyland Paris.

I can’t seem to find the customs code so I can get an idea of the percent that will be charged at the border.

Specifically, I’m looking for the HS code for Disney pin.

The items will be about US$100 so if I end up paying $50 in tariffs, I’m not going to do it

it is fully charged. It has no error messages. It is updated.

Hummingbirds are coming because I literally am seeing them. I have taken countless photos of hummingbirds coming to this feeder, but the Birdbuddy is not taking a single one.

Anybody have any ideas?
