Fleet Limitations Continue out of YYZ
For nearly a week, fleet limitations have been resulting in widespread schedule modifications and delays across the network. It started out with widebody shortages but the reality is there is also a narrowbody shortage with multiple FINs down for maintenance, glowing heart upgrades and 737 max 8 retrofits / transfers.
While AC has been working hard to stabilize the network, and overall, there have been improvements. However, YYZ continues to be the most impacted and that will continue into tomorrow. Below is a list of aircraft out of service + flights that have been modified or scrapped in advance and given the extremely tight schedule on multiple FINs tomorrow there’s not much leeway for delays or aircraft swaps which might lead to knock on delays across the network.
